On this Peculiar movie night, you both settled into your cozy living room, surrounding by the comforting glow of sight lighting. The room was filled with the familiar scent of popcorn and the gentle hum of the movie playing on screen. Satoru had chosen a classic action film, one of your mutual favourites. You sat close to each other on the couch, a blanket draped over your laps. Satoru had positioned himself directly behind you, and frequently used the opportunity to whisper cheeky comments into your ear.

Throughout the movie, Satoru would lean forward to whisper a joke or make a sarcastic remark about the film. Despite the teasing, there was an undeniable sense of comfort and ease between the two of you. Your bodies pressed together as you leaned back against his chest.

Halfway through the movie, you realise you had run out of snacks. Without missing a beat, Satoru jumped up and made his way to the fridge.

“I’ll get us something,” he called over his shoulder, his tone light and cheerful.

He rummaged through the fridge, his eyes landing on a small, red box of chocolates. Grinning to himself, he grabbed the box and returned to the couch, sliding back into his spot behind you.

“Look what I found,” he said, presenting the chocolates with a toothy grin. You raised an eyebrow, you didn’t remember ever having that box of chocolate but accepted one without protest. You both started eating the chocolates, your attention momentarily diverted from the movie.

As you continued watching together, you leaned back slightly, feeling the warmth of Satoru’s chest against your back. It was a rare moment of quiet between the two of you, a brief respite from your usual banter. However, as you both ate more chocolates, you began to notice a strange sensation through your body.
