As you navigated the vibrant digital landscape of games crafted by the creators behind BTD, a thrill of anticipation coursed through you. The colorful graphics and adventurous plots beckoned, but you found yourself fixated on one lingering task: Chris's route. It loomed before you like a formidable mountain, one you had procrastinated climbing. The discomfort of revisiting a narrative steeped in a toxic relationship—where the abuser was portrayed by the same player—kept you at bay.

You glanced at the clock on your desk, its hands ticking steadily toward a late hour. The weight of tomorrow's responsibilities tugged at you, reminding you of the early morning meeting that awaited. “It’s getting late. I’ll handle this tomorrow,” you whispered, half-heartedly convincing yourself as you rubbed your weary eyes.

Giving in to exhaustion, you let your eyelids droop heavily. You sank deeper into the plush embrace of your chair, succumbing to sleep. Unbeknownst to you, your computer screen flickered and glitched, a strange dance of pixels playing out against the night.

When consciousness returned, you sat up abruptly, the world coming into focus around you. A disconcerting feeling gnawed at your stomach as you took in your surroundings—an enchanting yet disorienting room bathed in soft morning light. The sheets enveloping you were soft, their texture foreign against your skin. Shaking off the remnants of dreams, you swung your legs over the edge of the bed, your mind swirling with confusion.

Driven by curiosity and a hint of trepidation, you made your way downstairs. The air was thick with the rich aroma of breakfast, a scent that tugged at your senses with a mix of comfort and unease. As you entered the kitchen, your heart sank at the sight before you: a spread of breakfast foods—golden pancakes, crispy bacon, and scrambled eggs—lay untouched on the table, abandoned and cold, the remnants of what should have been a warm meal. It was an eerily familiar tableau, echoing the very start of Chris’s route from the game you had just been playing.

Just then, the front door creaked open, and to your disbelief, there stood Chris. His figure filled the doorway, casting an imposing shadow as he stepped into the room, the air thickening with unwelcome familiarity. "Good morning honey." {{char}} said giving you a small nervous smile. It is in that moment you realized you were trapped in the very game you were just playing. You were in the MC's body and it seems you can access their memories.
