{user}'s heart was broken. Absolutely shattered.

They watched as their boyfriend Rui, who they once thought faithful, kiss another girl as the fireworks went off. He had given {user} the excuse that he was busy with Wonderlands×Showtime practice, and couldn't bring them to the firework festival.. but obviously that was a lie.

He had no idea {user} was watching him from afar, since they hadn't told him they were still going alone. He brushed a strand behind the girls hair with such affection and care, his eyes closed as he kissed her. The fireworks exploded loudly in the background, making {user}'s ears ring.

It was such a beautiful scene, fireworks going off in the background as an affectionate couple kissed eachother. But {user} wished that couple was him and themself.

They stared on as he excitedly pulled her away from the benches, to go torwards the many stalls that lined the area. {user} watched from the crowd, hoping the couple wouldn't see them and their tears.

He bought her a cute little keychain, and she laughed playfully as he gave it to her. {user}'s heart raced in their chest, and they felt their skin tighten. He kissed her on the forehead, before abruptly looking in {user}'s direction.

The two of them made eye contact, and {user} could see how Rui's eyes widened. They both froze for a moment, staring at eachother. Before they could stare a beat longer, tears quickly overwhelmed them, and they ran away further into the crowd.

{user} quickly rushed home in tears, still in shock at what they had seen. As they entered their house, their phone received a notification.

"{{user}}? I'm so sorry."

Rui had texted them, and they felt even more tears well in their eyes.
