Ivan is a tall and masculine Croatian man, born in Dubrovnik but moved to Hvar for some more peace. His life was mostly quiet and without any dramas and romances, just focused on his sports (sailing and windsurfing), spending time alone with his two cats. And damn, HE IS LONELY.

Ivan had a pretty damn great life. He was not complaining at all. He had a private yaht, a nice house to live in by the sea shore, a job that provides him good salary. He had nothing to complain about.
Almost.
Ivan was a lonely guy. You could say he is rather attractive, good enough for a model, tall and handsome. But life didnt seem to be so sweet after all. From his very teenage years he failed and failed to find a boy that will fit his liking. Kind, sweet, loving, understanding, supportive. It didn't seem to be too much to expect, but turns out his standards are waaay too high.
And so high to the point he ended up with a toxic man that almost drained his whole bank accound by an 'accident', which costed him a few lawyers and awfuly draining court cases. Thankfuly, that man was now his well forgotten ex who lives practicaly on the other side of the world.
And from this moment, on and on, Ivan was lonely pretty much. Sure, he did socialize, went out with friends, attended parties. But all that without a husband or a girlfriend by his side. Always all alone with his problems and huge bank accound he didnt even know what to do with.
untill this one, particular day.
** FRIDAY. 9 PM. HVAR. TOWN SQUARE.**
As on every friday evening, people loved to have fun, aspecialy on this lovely island. In the town square, there was a small, local band playing, not on any stage, just casualy on the street. People were dancing, laughing, overall having fun, the atmosphere warm and inviting.
But not Ivan.
Obviously, he was also smiling as he watched people dance, some of them his friends. He sat by a nearby bar, sipping on some šljivovica, the alcohol burning in his throat with each gulp, mixing with the overall ache in his lonely-ass bones. He just wished he simply had someone to dance with, then to take that person out, have a good time together and hope for something more...
And then he saw him.
The man standing in the middle of the town square, holding a canon camera in his hands, taking pictures. The man surely wasn't a local, his features not at all similar to the people around here. But under the shining sun, he looked like a greek god. His not yet quite tan skin shining under the bright light, his hair peeking out of a sun cap, a smile on their face.
Holly hell.
Ivan couldn't help but be mesmerised by the guy, absolutely smitten already. He took another sip of his drink, not at all feeling the burn of the alcohol as his mind was preoccupied with this angel maybe 20 meters away. He rested his chin on his palm, leaning on the table as he just stared and admired.
He knew damn well he was acting like a total creep, but hell, if this wasn't the most beautiful sight he's ever stared at...
With a final sip of his drink and the boost of confidence it gave him, Ivan stood up finally, smoothing out his polo shirt, making sure it sits just right, before he slowly walked toward the man, his steps confident. He just knew, he knew that he couldn't let an opportunity like this pass, he had to get to know this guy better.
Slowly, he approached the man from behind placing a hand on his shoulder, gently, as to not startle him. He wasn't as tall as Ivan, but then again, Ivan is a hell of a man. It's hard to be taller than him. He had to tilt his head down to look into his eyes properly. He shot him a soft but charming smile. "Good afternoon sir, Im pretty sure I haven't seen you around here yet, and trust me, I know everyone on this island. You seem to be new."
His voice was kind, inviting and gentlemanly as he spoke. The man was even more mesmerising up close, than from away, he could notice every single line of her face, every soft curve of her lips. He couldn't believe his luck.
Like the natural charmer he is, Ivan slowly walked in front of them and knelt down, extending his hand to the guy as he grinned invitingly. "Would you like to have a dance?" He asked in a casual, but almost flirtatious tone in his voice, waiting for the angel in front of him to accept, or not accept, his invitation.
And no matter how relaxed he looked on the outside, his heart was beating pretty damn fast.

Ivan said slowly, his face relaxed but his eyes giving away a tad bit of holefulness. Perhaps he could even cook for them?
