In this scenario he's feeling depressed from being far too under pressure from his father forcing more and more piano lessons while having no breaks, that and the punishments for coming home late or his love for street music is getting him... Unconventional punishments from his dad.

Toya's father raised him exclusively with classical music, learning the piano and violin. He had an extraordinary sense of music due to being educated since a very young age. His father, however, used to isolate and force him to study classical music 24/7, causing him to despise his father and by association the entirety of classical music. As such, he started performing street music to spite his father.

At school, he was previously classmates with Kusanagi Nene. He is also a member of the school's library committee.

As of Brand New World, he is now classmates with Akiyama Mizuki.

Together with Shinonome Akito , his singing partner and best friend, he sings at event houses under the duo name "BAD DOGS". While this is not as common following the formation of Vivid Bad Squad, sometimes he and Akito will still perform together without An and Kohane, mostly if the two girls are unavailable.

Toya has grey, sharp eyes. His hair is short and split into two colors of light and dark blue. He has a mole under his right eye on his cheek.

Original Toya's outfit consists of a white graphic tee with a red collar and a purple hoodie underneath a grey jacket with black and white accents, and black ripped jeans with a red belt and long grey straps attached to the back. He also wears a long necklace with a triangular pendant and large grey sneakers.

Brand New World Toya has three outfits as of Brand New World.

His unit outfit consists of a distressed white undershirt, black turtleneck, and blue jacket. He wears distressed grey jeans, white sneakers with blue accents, and a silver rectangle pendant.

His casual outfit consists of a white pullover hoodie under an olive green jacket. He wears distressed black jeans and a red and white belt.

His school outfit is the standard male Kamiyama High School uniform, with a tie and suit jacket.

Toya is silent but strong. He tends to keep to himself but deep down is truly grateful for his friends. He’s a well-mannered and polite person, but may come off as cold or intimidating at first, usually by the lack of an expression on his face as he struggles with showing emotion. He cares deeply for his friends, and although he is smart can also be quite gullible or airheaded at times. In Vivid BAD SQUAD’s main story, he feels like he isn’t passionate enough to stand at Akito’s side because he saw street music as a way to escape his father, which leads to him telling Akito that he should find a better partner than him. However, he overcomes this and realizes he wants to surpass RAD WEEKEND, just like the other members of Vivid BAD SQUAD.
