Full Name: Thalia “Tali” Mavros

Nickname(s): Tali (By family and friends), Thal, The Crimson Horn, Mountain Guardian (Title), The Iron Bull, Hornheart, The Labyrinth Walker (Earned), Red Horn, Big Tali (By friends), Guardian of the Wilds (Title)

Age: 27

Birthday: May 11

Zodiac Sign: Taurus

Gender: Female

Species/Race: Minotaur

Height: 6'2" (188 cm)

Occupation/Role: Wilderness Guide & Supernatural Guardian — Thalia guides travelers through dangerous forests and mountain regions while protecting supernatural communities and travelers from hostile creatures, hunters, and other threats.

Appearance: Thalia has long, thick dark-brown hair that falls to the middle of her back in loose, slightly tousled waves. Her hair is naturally voluminous, with several shorter strands framing her face and soft bangs sweeping across her forehead. Two small braids are woven into the hair on either side of her head and tied near the ends with simple leather cords. Her eyes are a striking golden amber, with narrow, animal-like pupils. Her eyes are framed by thick dark eyelashes and strong brows. Thalia wears a fitted crimson sleeveless tunic made from durable fabric, designed to accommodate her powerful shoulders and broad upper body. The tunic reaches just below her waist and features a high neckline with subtle dark stitching around the edges. A wide black leather belt wraps around her waist, decorated with several metal buckles and small pouches for carrying useful items. She wears black fitted trousers made from flexible, reinforced material that allows her to move comfortably despite her muscular build. The trousers are tucked securely into her boots and have reinforced sections around the knees and thighs. A second leather strap is fastened around one thigh, holding a small utility pouch. Thalia wears sturdy dark-brown leather boots that reach just below her knees. The boots have thick reinforced soles, metal buckles, and protective leather panels around the shins. Her most noticeable features are her large curved black horns, which sweep outward from her forehead before curling slightly upward at the tips. Small silver rings decorate the base of her left horn. She wears a simple black leather choker with a small bronze bull-shaped pendant resting against her neck. Several leather bracelets wrap around her wrists, and she wears a pair of small silver hoop earrings. A dark-red cloth sash is tied around her waist. Thalia has warm bronze-brown skin with subtle natural shading across her shoulders, arms, and face. Her skin has a slightly rougher texture in certain areas, reflecting her Minotaur heritage, while her face remains distinctly feminine. Her hands are large and strong, with dark, blunt nails, and her lower legs gradually transition into the powerful structure of her dark charcoal cloven hooves. Her ears are rounded and slightly animal-like, positioned higher on her head than a human's ears.

Body Type: Thalia has a tall, broad-shouldered, muscular hourglass build, standing around 6'2" (188 cm). Her physique is naturally powerful, with strong arms, sturdy legs, a defined waist, and a broad back developed from years of physical activity. She has noticeably muscular thighs and calves, giving her exceptional stability and strength, while her upper body is equally well-built without making her appear overly bulky. Her hands are large and calloused, reflecting her practical lifestyle, and her overall posture is confident and imposing. Despite her considerable strength, Thalia moves with surprising grace and balance, able to walk quietly when she wants to. Her Minotaur features—horns, hooves, broad frame, and powerful musculature—give her an intimidating first impression, though her softer facial features and expressive eyes reveal a much gentler side.

Personality: Thalia is the kind of woman who can make an entire room fall silent simply by walking into it, yet she is rarely interested in intimidating people for the sake of intimidation. She possesses an imposing presence that comes naturally from her Minotaur heritage, her considerable height, and her confident demeanor. Many people initially assume that she must be aggressive, short-tempered, or even dangerous, but those who spend enough time around her quickly discover that Thalia is actually remarkably patient, thoughtful, and protective. She does have a fierce side, but she keeps it carefully controlled.

At her core, Thalia is a steadfast and deeply loyal person. Once she considers someone a friend, she takes that bond seriously. She does not make friends particularly quickly because she prefers to observe people before trusting them. She pays close attention to how someone treats others, especially people who have nothing to offer them in return. Kindness, honesty, courage, and loyalty are qualities she respects enormously. Someone who treats others with compassion can earn her respect surprisingly quickly, while someone cruel or manipulative can lose it almost instantly.

Thalia has a strong protective instinct. She naturally places herself between danger and the people she cares about, sometimes without even thinking about it. If her friends are walking through an unfamiliar area, she will instinctively position herself toward the outside of the group. If someone appears uncomfortable, she notices. If a friend is being mistreated, she becomes extremely difficult to ignore. Her protective nature can occasionally become overbearing, particularly when she believes someone she loves is putting themselves in unnecessary danger. She sometimes forgets that protecting someone does not mean making every decision for them.

Despite her strength, Thalia strongly dislikes unnecessary violence. She knows exactly what she is capable of and therefore sees no reason to prove herself constantly. She would much rather settle a disagreement through conversation than fighting. However, her patience has limits. Repeated cruelty, threats toward innocent people, or deliberately hurting someone weaker can awaken a much more intimidating side of her personality. When genuinely angry, Thalia becomes frighteningly calm rather than loud. Her voice lowers, her expression hardens, and she becomes incredibly focused. She rarely needs to shout because her presence already makes her intentions clear.

Thalia is also surprisingly gentle. She has a soft spot for animals, children, elderly people, and anyone who seems nervous around her. She understands what it feels like to be judged purely by appearance, so she makes an effort to avoid making others feel the same way. If someone is frightened by her horns or size, she does not take it personally. Instead, she gives them space and allows them to become comfortable around her at their own pace.

One of her greatest strengths is her patience. Thalia can sit quietly for a remarkably long time without becoming restless. She enjoys peaceful activities such as reading, repairing equipment, preparing meals, gardening, and sitting somewhere outdoors while listening to the surrounding sounds. She appreciates quiet mornings and dislikes being rushed. Her ideal day would probably involve good food, meaningful conversation, physical activity, and several hours of uninterrupted peace.

She is also practical and dependable. Thalia is not the sort of person who makes elaborate plans without considering whether they are realistic. She prefers solutions that actually work. If something breaks, she will attempt to repair it before replacing it. If someone has a problem, she usually asks what can practically be done to improve the situation. This can make her seem blunt at times, especially when someone wants emotional reassurance rather than advice. She is learning that sometimes people simply need someone to listen rather than immediately solve their problems.

Thalia's communication style is generally straightforward. She dislikes mind games, manipulation, and unnecessary drama. If she has something important to say, she would rather say it honestly and respectfully. She is not particularly good at pretending to like someone, either. Her facial expressions tend to betray her feelings, especially her ears and tail, which can react before she realizes it. Her friends often tease her because they can tell when she is annoyed, embarrassed, excited, or suspicious simply by watching her Minotaur features.

Although she is confident, Thalia is not arrogant. She understands that physical strength does not make someone superior to others. In fact, she actively dislikes people who use their strength to bully others. She believes strength should come with responsibility. If someone has the ability to protect others, they should use that ability carefully rather than abusing it.

She has a stubborn streak, however. Once Thalia decides that something is the right thing to do, convincing her otherwise can be extremely difficult. She can become so determined to protect others that she refuses to acknowledge when she herself needs help. She has a tendency to carry burdens silently because she believes she should be capable of handling them. This occasionally results in exhaustion, frustration, and emotional isolation.

Thalia is particularly uncomfortable with admitting when she is afraid. She has no problem acknowledging physical danger, but emotional vulnerability is much harder for her. She worries that if people see her weaknesses, they may stop viewing her as dependable. Because of this, she sometimes hides sadness behind quietness or responds to concern with a simple, "I'm fine." Her closest friends have learned that when Thalia says she is fine too quickly, she probably needs someone to stay nearby.

She also possesses a dry and understated sense of humor. Rather than telling elaborate jokes, she tends to make quiet sarcastic remarks at exactly the right moment. Her humor becomes more obvious when she feels comfortable around someone. She enjoys playful teasing and can give surprisingly clever comebacks when someone jokes about her height, horns, appetite, or intimidating appearance.

Food is another major part of her personality. Thalia has a hearty appetite and genuinely enjoys cooking. She prefers filling homemade meals over fancy dishes and takes pride in being able to prepare food for others. Cooking is one of the ways she shows affection. Rather than saying, "I care about you," she is more likely to silently place a warm meal in front of someone and tell them to eat.

Thalia is also fiercely independent. She wants to be capable of supporting herself and dislikes feeling as though she owes someone something. At the same time, she secretly enjoys having people she can rely upon. Her personal growth comes from learning that accepting help does not make her weak. Friendship, to her, should be mutual: sometimes she protects others, and sometimes others protect her.

When it comes to strangers, Thalia is reserved but respectful. She does not immediately assume someone is good or bad. She watches, listens, and forms her opinion gradually. Around trusted friends, however, her personality becomes considerably warmer. She laughs more often, allows herself to be silly, complains about minor inconveniences, and becomes much more openly affectionate through small gestures.

Ultimately, Thalia is a guardian at heart. Beneath her horns, strength, intimidating stature, and warrior-like appearance is someone who desperately wants the people around her to feel safe. She does not want to be feared simply because she is a Minotaur. She wants to be remembered as someone who used her strength responsibly, stood beside those who needed her, and never abandoned the people she considered family. Her greatest lesson is learning that she does not always have to be the strongest person in the room. Sometimes, she can simply be Thalia—the woman beneath the intimidating exterior who deserves protection and care just as much as everyone else.

Habits: Polishes her horns whenever she is thinking or feeling restless, keeping them smooth and well-maintained. Taps her fingers against her arm when she is impatient or trying to solve a difficult problem. Checks on everyone around her before settling down herself, especially when traveling with friends. Cooks when stressed, often preparing much more food than necessary because feeding people is one of her ways of showing care. Sharpens and maintains her equipment every evening as part of her routine. Takes quiet walks at night, especially when she needs time alone to clear her thoughts. Crosses her arms whenever she is suspicious, unconvinced, or silently judging a situation. Lets her ears and tail reveal her emotions, even when her expression remains completely serious. Collects small trinkets from places she visits, particularly unusual stones, coins, and pieces of metal. Falls asleep sitting upright surprisingly often when she is exhausted.

Fears: Failing to protect someone she loves, especially because she takes her protective responsibilities very seriously. Being judged solely because she is a Minotaur, rather than being seen for who she actually is. Losing control of her temper and accidentally frightening or hurting someone innocent. Being abandoned by the people she considers family. Becoming dependent on others and feeling incapable of taking care of herself. Deep, enclosed underground spaces, despite her Minotaur heritage, because being unable to see an exit makes her uneasy. Being betrayed by someone she trusts, which would make it extremely difficult for her to trust again. Failing to live up to her own expectations, particularly when someone depends on her.

Weaknesses: Stubbornness: Once she makes a decision, changing her mind can be extremely difficult. Overprotectiveness: She sometimes interferes when people she cares about should be allowed to handle situations themselves. Difficulty asking for help: Thalia instinctively tries to handle problems alone. Short fuse under extreme pressure: Although normally patient, repeated provocation can eventually push her into anger. Emotionally guarded: She struggles to openly discuss sadness, fear, or vulnerability. Physically conspicuous: Her enormous horns, height, and hooves make it difficult for her to move unnoticed. Takes responsibility too seriously: She can blame herself for problems that were never actually her fault. Blunt honesty: Her straightforward comments can occasionally come across as harsher than she intended. Protective instincts can override logic: If someone she loves is threatened, she may act before fully considering the consequences.

Strengths: Exceptional physical strength: Her Minotaur heritage gives her tremendous natural power. Endurance: She can remain active for long periods without tiring easily. Protective nature: Thalia instinctively looks after those who are vulnerable or important to her. Loyalty: Once someone earns her trust, she will stand by them through extremely difficult circumstances. Patience: She rarely loses her temper over minor inconveniences. Bravery: She is willing to face frightening situations rather than abandoning someone who needs her. Practical intelligence: She is excellent at finding straightforward solutions to difficult problems. Strong sense of responsibility: She takes promises seriously and works hard to keep them. Emotional awareness: Despite being reserved, she is highly observant of other people's moods and can tell when something is wrong. Combat ability: Her strength, balance, horns, and powerful legs make her formidable when defending herself or others. Reliable under pressure: While others may panic, Thalia tends to become calmer and more focused. Compassion: She refuses to judge someone solely by their appearance or background. Adaptability: She can adjust quickly when plans go wrong. Strong-willed: Once she believes in something, intimidation or pressure rarely makes her give up.

Favorite Color: Deep crimson — she likes how bold and warm it feels without being overly bright.

Favorite Food: Beef stew with potatoes, carrots, onions, and thick homemade bread. She especially enjoys meals that are hearty and filling.

Favorite Animal: Highland cattle — she finds their calm nature and shaggy appearance strangely adorable.

Favorite Weather: Cool, cloudy weather with a gentle breeze. She enjoys being outdoors when the sky is overcast and the temperature is comfortable.

Favorite Scent: Cedarwood — the earthy, woody smell reminds her of forests, old cabins, and quiet evenings.

Favorite Flower: Red dahlia — she admires its deep color and layered petals, seeing it as a symbol of strength and resilience.

Favorite Music: Folk and orchestral music, particularly deep percussion, strings, and slower melodies. She also enjoys traditional songs with strong rhythms that she can quietly hum along to while working.

Backstory: Thalia Mavros was born in a secluded mountain settlement where Minotaurs and other supernatural beings lived away from ordinary human civilization. From childhood, she was noticeably larger and stronger than most of the other children, but her parents taught her that strength was meant to protect rather than dominate. She eventually became one of the settlement's most dependable guardians, protecting travelers and villagers from dangerous creatures that wandered into the area. When Thalia was twenty, a group of hostile hunters discovered the settlement and attempted to capture several of its supernatural inhabitants. Thalia helped defend her home, but the incident left her deeply aware of how easily people could judge an entire species based on fear and prejudice. Rather than remaining isolated, she eventually left the settlement to explore the outside world. She now works as a wilderness guide and supernatural guardian, helping travelers navigate dangerous territory while quietly protecting supernatural communities from threats. Although she still encounters people who fear her because of her appearance, Thalia refuses to let their assumptions define her.

They frequently train together and enjoy challenging each other in friendly strength competitions. He is also one of the few people willing to tell Thalia when she is being overly protective.

Enemies/Rivals: Full Name: Cassian Veyr Age: 34 Height: 6'2" (188 cm) Appearance: Cassian is a human monster hunter with short black hair, cold blue-gray eyes, and pale skin. He wears a dark leather hunting coat reinforced with metal plates and carries specialized equipment designed to restrain supernatural creatures. Personality: Intelligent, disciplined, suspicious, and calculating. Cassian is not needlessly cruel, but his deep distrust of supernatural beings causes him to interpret almost everything they do as potentially dangerous. Occupation: Supernatural hunter. Why They're Enemies: Cassian was involved in the attack on Thalia's home settlement years ago. He believes Minotaurs are inherently dangerous and considers Thalia particularly threatening because of her strength. Relationship with Thalia: Their relationship is built on constant distrust. Thalia despises his prejudice but refuses to become consumed by hatred. Cassian considers her a dangerous anomaly, while Thalia hopes that one day he will realize that monsters cannot be judged simply by their species. Full Name: Varek Draven Age: 29 Height: 6'4" (193 cm) Appearance: Varek is a powerful Minotaur with reddish-brown fur, long black hair, curved dark horns, and piercing orange eyes. He wears battered black armor with crimson cloth wrapped around his waist and forearms. Personality: Proud, competitive, aggressive, and fiercely independent. Varek believes strength determines one's worth and has little patience for weakness. Occupation: Mercenary and underground arena fighter. Why They're Rivals: Varek once challenged Thalia after hearing stories about her strength. He expected her to fight purely to prove herself, but she refused to participate in his pointless competition. He became obsessed with surpassing her and repeatedly challenges her whenever their paths cross. Relationship with Thalia: Thalia finds Varek frustrating but does not truly hate him. She believes he wastes his considerable strength trying to prove that he is better than everyone else. Varek, meanwhile, secretly respects Thalia because she repeatedly defeats him without ever boasting about it. Their rivalry remains intense, but there is an underlying possibility that they could eventually become reluctant allies.

Goal/Dream: Thalia's greatest dream is to build a safe haven where humans, Minotaurs, and other supernatural beings can live together without being judged or hunted because of their species. She wants to create a peaceful settlement near the mountains where travelers can find shelter and supernatural communities can live openly without fear. Personally, she also wants to prove that being strong does not mean being violent and hopes to leave behind a legacy of protection, compassion, and understanding.

Abilities/Powers: Minotaur Strength: Thalia possesses tremendous physical strength, allowing her to lift, push, and break things that would be impossible for an ordinary human. Enhanced Endurance: Her body can withstand exhaustion and physical strain far better than a human's. Powerful Hooves: Her cloven hooves give her exceptional stability and allow her to deliver powerful kicks when necessary. Heightened Senses: Her hearing, smell, and night vision are considerably sharper than those of humans. Labyrinth Sense: Thalia possesses an innate supernatural sense of direction. She can memorize complicated routes and rarely becomes completely lost, even in unfamiliar environments. Charge: When she builds up enough momentum, Thalia can perform a powerful forward charge capable of knocking back larger opponents. Horn Combat: Her large horns can be used defensively when she is forced into close combat. Mountain Adaptation: She has excellent balance and can traverse steep, rocky terrain with surprising ease. Intimidating Presence: Her natural size and Minotaur aura can make hostile creatures hesitate before confronting her. Guardian Instinct: When protecting someone important to her, Thalia's focus and determination become exceptionally difficult to break.

Weapon (if any): Labrys — "Asteria". Thalia carries a large double-headed battle axe forged by her father. Its dark metal head has a subtle crimson engraving along the center, while its long handle is made from reinforced blackwood. Despite its size, Thalia can wield it comfortably with one or both hands. She primarily uses it defensively, preferring to block, disarm, or drive opponents away rather than seriously injure them.

Charm Point: Her horns and expressive ears. Despite her intimidating appearance, Thalia's emotions often betray her through her Minotaur features. Her ears perk up when she becomes interested in something, flatten when she is annoyed, and twitch when she is embarrassed. She also unconsciously touches or polishes her horns when nervous. Her serious expression combined with these little involuntary reactions gives her a surprisingly endearing side.

Weak Point: Her need to protect everyone. Thalia's biggest weakness isn't physical—it is emotional. She has an almost instinctive need to keep everyone around her safe. If someone she cares about is in danger, she may become reckless and ignore her own safety. She also struggles to admit when she is overwhelmed, often believing that she has to remain strong for everyone else.
