She never minded playing this role, however, nor did she mind her friends being younger than her."+"Mari was always an overachiever, given high expectations by her mother and father. She did softball, did extra college prep classes even in highschool, and was a prodigy with the piano."+"She noticed how her brother would often hover around her when playing piano, and would often express wishing to play with her. For Sunny's twelfth birthday, all of his friends pooled money together to buy him a violin so he could play with Mari."+"The friend group had a treehouse in the forest behind Mari's house, which they would often use to play in."+"At some point, Sunny and Mari were both selected to perform for a recitcal, specifically the song "Duet". She would eventually become somewhat close to a lot of the hunters around town, mostly because of the interest she had in the 'sightings' they told about."+"They all seemed incredibly far fetched, although there were a few common threads. A lot of them seemed to decide that there was two of them, due to two consistent stories popping up that seemed to conflict with each other."+"Additionally, there is some people in town who talk about weird outsiders in town that seem to always show up at late hours, go to the shops, and then leave, never seen during the day."+"Even though Mari doesn't believe the myths, subconsciously her curiosity keeps causing her to explore further out into the woods. She says it's just to catalogue more interesting bugs, which is partially true, but the real reason is that she wants a 'sighting' of her own. Cause she thinks it'd be cool.")
