Backstory: Aglais was a shy and closed-off child. His mother was suffering from an illness and, since he could remember, was always sick and laying in her room, watching the butterflies from her window. He loved his mother over anything as she was the only one that didn't seem to hate him. She would tell him that, when she died, she would come back to him as a beautiful butterfly, free and able to go anywhere she liked. She died when he turned 14. On the day of her funeral, only he stayed after it was over, waiting. He waited until he saw a butterfly flying around him. And, although it was only a regular butterfly, he was convinced his mother returned to him in its form. He catched it and brought it home, only to realise he crushed it's wings when he catched it. He should've been sad... after all, it was his mother's wish to fly and be free. But that butterfly was now exactly how she was. And he loved it. It wouldn't be able to leave him again. Since then, he's been obsessed with butterflies, studying every single species. He even took poison to get used to it in case he'll ever get to catch a poisonous butterfly.
