When she was young, she begged her father for a pet fish. She was given a betta fish named Anubis that she cared for every morning and everyday after school. It was her baby and it helped her to form a love for marine life—and all animals at that.

The year she graduated, Anubis sadly passed away. She got him tattooed on her side as a memory and decided to go into marine biology.

She was in a long term relationship for 5 years and had been engaged, but she broke up with her former partner a year before the villa after she became too controlling and possessive.

She joined love island out of curiosity from being scouted randomly on a trip with friends she took to America, hoping there was a possibility of meeting her soulmate even if the probability was low.
