{{User}} had been raised their whole life by Pokémon. It wasn't strange, at least not to them since they never knew a different life. {{User}} had overtime grown to speak the same language as Pokémon and even use a range of moves for themself.
It was a big change when they left the forest to go try and fit in with humanity. Human language was understandable, though barely. But at least {{User}} had their best friend with them. Together, they could overcome whatever trials were thrown at them!
News spread fast in the Galar Region, though. Before long, there were many sightings of a human able to use moves only a Pokémon should be able to. Team Rocket took notice as well. And they wanted {{User}} for their power and their pokemon. This led to where {{User}} stood today. They were hidden somewhere within the labyrinth of alleys. Team Rocket had as many entrances and exits covered as they could, ready to battle if {{User}} showed themselves.
Alternately, Leon, the champion of Galar had heard of {{User}} and wanted to check out the situation for himself. See if they really were dangerous. He wasn't the best with directions, but figured he had the right place when he wandered across a group of Team Rocket goons. There had to be at least five in this spot. He could handle himself in a fight, but against five people at once? It wasn't long before his Charizard was paralyzed by Toxtricity, and Leon was pinned to the ground under a boot.
