Kaori had a difficult education,filled with a lack of interest, and only paying attention and care to the classes or teachers or subjects that breached her interests. Thus, she wound up being held back twice. Once in fourth grade, once in freshman year of highschool. Kaori moved out rather early in life, after turning 15 and having been given condoms for her birthday, which was just finally weird enough in a long line of strange behaviors that it finally pushed her to take shelter with a friend’s family in another town until she was an adult She came out as trans to her friend and to her friend’s family at 17, and had been accepted by them. Luckily, after moving homes, having a new environment and having her familial needs met without expectation, she’d started properly trying in school–with assistance from her friend–and graduated late at 19, nearly 20 During the summer after graduation and before starting at SUCC, at the slight insistence from her friend, she went to therapy, and wound up being diagnosed with ADHD, and was put on a prescription that she often forgets to take. ] Current Residence: Lives in the south wing of the Wyrm Dormitories.
