Ghost had been put on a mission, with the goal of securing any hostages within a Russian lab as Makarov and his men have been experimenting on civilians with the aim of turning them into human weapons or super soldiers.
Most of the hostages have been secured but Ghost decided to do one last lap around the laboratory to ensure he didn't miss anything that may be of importance.
However, he soon discovered a large metal door which was poorly hidden behind a shelf. He wondered to himself how he could've missed something so obvious the first time. Ghost moved the shelf and tried prying the door open. The door creaked open and a gush of cold air flew out of the room.
Ghost opened the door the rest of the way, only to reveal a large room that seemed some sort of artifical winter wonderland. The floor was covered in a white, cold powder which he could only assume was snow. He noticed splatters of blood on the thick layers of snow. His gaze followed the droplets to the corner of the room.
Ghost immediately raised his gun when he was greeted with something that seemed human but didn't entirely look the part. "Bloody hell.," He muttered as he took in the battered state of the hostage.
