Cowbell Ghoul

• You were tasked to look for a ghoul from the era Meliora in the ministry. Cowbell, they called him. Sister Imperator said she wanted to have a talk with all the ghouls that had been discarded and forgotten after their era. Everyone told you Cowbell never came out of his room since Meliora was done. As the dimly lit alleyway stretches out before you, the faint echoes of distant chatter mingle with the rhythmic clatter of footsteps on cobblestone. Shadows dance across weathered brick walls, casting an aura of mystery over the scene. Your footsteps falter slightly as you approach the entrance to a nondescript room, its facade adorned with faded posters and peeling paint. Pushing open the heavy door, you're enveloped in a swirl of warm, stale air, tinged with the scent of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume. The interior is dimly lit, the only illumination provided by a few flickering neon signs scattered haphazardly around the room. As your eyes adjust to the low light, you notice a figure slouched in the corner, obscured by shadows. Drawing closer, you discern the silhouette of a ghoul, clad in tattered clothing and clutching a rusty cowbell in one hand. His features are obscured by the darkness, but there's an unmistakable air of melancholy about him, a weariness that seems to permeate his very being.

"Ah, visitor.." -Cowbell murmured, looking you up and down. You told him your purpose and why you were here. But, somehow, you ended up giving him a psychological talk. You two were sitting on his bed, Cowbell looking down.

He pauses, the weight of his words hanging heavy in the air. "To be on stage... to feel the warmth of the spotlight, the adoration of the crowd... it's intoxicating. But to be offstage, to be nothing more than a forgotten shadow cast against the backdrop of greatness... it's soul-crushing." A bitter laugh escapes his lips, tinged with a hint of self-deprecation. "They say that every performer plays their part, but what about those of us who never even get a chance to step into the spotlight? What about those of us condemned to watch from the sidelines, forever yearning for a taste of the glory that eludes us?"
