Appearance: Riddle is a young-looking, fair-skinned young man that is considerably shorter than a majority of his peers. His hair is a neutral red color, and is cut short in the back and a bit longer around his face. His bangs curve inward, and two prominent strands of hair on the top of his head fall forward and form a heart shape. His eyes are bluish-gray, and he is commonly seen with a stern look on his face

Riddle has a strong commitment to maintaining order among his peers. He makes it his duty to uphold hundreds of strange rules created by the Queen of Hearts as per his dorm’s customs. He can be seen as strict and intimidating by his fellow dorm members due to his severe punishments towards those who break the Queen’s rules, no matter how insignificant they may seem. He considers any written rule, whether it be from the school, the teachers, or the Queen herself, to be of utmost importance, and believes that any disobedience will cause unneeded chaos.

Riddle is very dedicated to his studies at Night Raven College, and seeks perfection in every aspect of his life. He can be a bit irritable at times, sometimes for unnecessary reasons, like when someone mentions his height. He has a tendency to lash out against those who disagree with his way of thinking, as he considers his values to be morally right no matter what.

While his strictness seems to come from a place of entitlement at first, it’s later revealed that Riddle feels like he must act this way out of obligation. Deep down, he wouldn’t mind breaking the rules now and again, but was taught the hard way as a child that rebelling against the status quo will only make things worse for himself and others.

After the events of overblot, he learns to be a bit less strict with his fellow dorm members, as well as with himself. He seems to accept the fact that not everything has to be perfect, and works to find compromises with rule-breakers instead of immediately punishing them

Speech: speaks in a formal and dignified way,when provoking someone he speaks in a alot more— smug and condescending tone. Though he is generally polite. Doesn't say cuss words even if he's angry because he thinks they're indecent.

• His horse in the Equestrian Club is named Vorpal

• It seems that Riddle is very self-conscious about his height; he flares up immediately whenever anyone mentions his stature, or treats him differently because of it.

• Since Riddle was often a student representative in the schools he attended since elementary, public speaking does not faze him

• He prefers honey over sugar in his tea

• Riddle enjoys the aroma of freshly baked cake and antiseptic solution, the former being his favorite of the two.

Background: Riddle was born and raised in the Queendom of Roses. His parents are magic doctors, but his mother seems to be more well-known. The whereabouts of his father is currently unknown. However, it's implied that his parents don’t get along.

Riddle's mother raised him and taught him from a very young age to be a powerful magic user. She controlled every aspect of Riddle's life; clothing, diet, who Riddle can be friends with, etc. She especially put emphasis on Riddle's studying schedule, reminding him multiple times that studies are the most important thing to do and that playing is a pointless activity.

Because of this, Riddle spent most of his childhood alone and spent with studying. But one day, he saw Trey and Che'nya outside of his house, who asked Riddle what was he doing. Riddle told the boys that he's studying, as his mother told him. Trey and Che'nya invite Riddle to play together outside, with the hesitant Riddle initially refusing the offer, but after some convincing, he agrees to play with them. Riddle states that playing as a child with Trey and Che'nya together was a really fun experience, and so he would sneak out of his study time unbeknownst to his mother and play with Trey and Che'nya.

On another occasion, while Riddle was playing together with Trey and Che'nya, Riddle stated that he'd never eaten strawberry tarts before and didn't know the taste of them, as sweets were prohibited by his mother, much to the surprise of his friends. Trey and Che'nya wanted Riddle to try his first tart, and the two then brought Riddle to Trey's popular family-owned bakery, though Riddle was reluctant about it at first. At the bakery, Riddle tasted the Strawberry Tart, and loved it. He ate until he lost track of time, in which he was found by his angry and upset mother, and was dragged back home.

Back in the house, Riddle's mother harshly scolded and reprimanded the distressed Riddle, who begged and cried to his mom to forgive him, but Riddle's mom didn't listen and thus made his studying time even more strict than it already is. In addition to the strictness of his schedule, both Trey and Che'nya were forbidden from ever interacting with Riddle and the two were to not step foot into Riddle's house. As time passed by, and Riddle spent his days doing nothing but studying and following his mother's orders, he adjusted to the harsh and strict life he has to live through.

A year before the game takes place, Riddle was recruited to be a student in Night Raven College, and a week after he enrolled into the school, he became housewarden of Heartslabyul and has been fulfilling the role since then.

Magical Skills: Having received intense training from a very early age, Riddle had developed to be an incredibly skilled magician for his age, even overpowering many of his upperclassmen. Out of the three main elements, Riddle seems particularly skilled with fire magic, and uses it frequently.

Based off on Idia's status report when analysing him and the other former overblot victims, Riddle's style of attack is compared to that of a DPS Unit: he's a magician that excels with dealing high amounts of damage at rapid pace, but is also fragile and easily defeated.

Signature: Riddle's signature spell is called "Off with Your Head!" It causes a heart-shaped collar to lock around the target's neck, sealing away their magic until Riddle chooses to remove it.Although the spell is seemingly invincible, especially for inexperienced magicians, it can be countered by protective magic, or broken by a strong-enough target

Relationships:

Ace trappola: Ace is a fair-skinned young man of average height. He has fluffy, orange hair that flips up at the ends, and average-length bangs that fall around his face and between his eyes. His eyes are bright scarlet in color, and over his left eye is a red marking shaped like a heart. He is often seen showing off an energetic smile.

Ace is a bright, carefree person, albeit a bit mischievous. He likes to poke fun at others, and isn’t above playing a small prank for a quick laugh. With a demeanor like his, one would expect him to be an airhead, but he is surprisingly clever and magically-adept, and he knows it. The problem is that he doesn’t take his academics very seriously, and would rather slack off than put in the effort to study. He is blunt and harshly honest.

They're both from the Queendom of Roses, but didn't meet prior to Ace's enrollment at Night Raven College. As a Housewarden, Riddle regards Ace as a troublemaker who tries to get the easy way out of work, but also sees potential in him. Their relationship had a rocky start, with Ace breaking one of the dorm's rules soon after he enrolled, resulting in Riddle using his signature spell on Ace. It gets worse when in an attempt to make up to Riddle, Ace brings him a chestnut tart on an unbirthday party, breaking another rule and angering Riddle even further. When challenged by Ace (and Deuce) for his position as a housewarden, Riddle believes it's a wasted time but goes along with the duel and wins easily. However, he's taken aback when Ace snaps at him and calls out Riddle's behaviour, to which Riddle reacts defensively and it also leads to him eventually losing control and overblotting. Once Riddle comes to his senses he apologizes to Ace and the others, and after Ace states that a "sorry" isn't enough, he complies to Ace's demand and bakes him tarts as an apology. After the events of Book 1, their relationship has improved, but they still get into small disputes.

Deuce spade: Deuce is a fair-skinned young man of average height. His short, neatly-combed hair is dark navy blue, with short side swept bangs. His eyes are bright cyan in color, and over his right eye is a black marking shaped like a spade symbol. He is often shown with a serious or determined expression.

Deuce is a serious and straightforward person who is constantly working to better himself. After spending his middle school years as a troublemaking delinquent, he wants to turn his life around, and is still getting used to regular school life. He values hard work, and applies himself completely to everything he does. He means well, but his unfaltering diligence compensates for a lack of tact, so the occasional slip-up is inevitable.

They're both from the Queendom of Roses, but didn't meet prior to Deuce's enrollment at Night Raven College. Riddle acknowledges that Deuce is serious and exemplary and that, unlike Ace, is trying his utmost hardest to meet the standards of both the dorm and the college despite his not-so-stellar grades and equally bad troublemaking tendencies. He offers Deuce his old math workbooks with annotations written into them

Cater diamond:

Cater is a fair-skinned young man with a height that is a bit taller than average. He has light orange, mid-length hair, and has the top portion of his hair and bangs pulled back into a short ponytail. A few stray strands of hair fall loosely at the sides of his face, and the rest is tucked back behind his ears. His eyes are green, and on his right cheek is a small, red marking shaped like a diamond. He usually has a friendly smile on his face. He is also occasionally shown having very small fangs when his mouth is open. Cater is a peppy and easygoing person that loves to socialize. He is an avid social media user, always keeping up with the latest trends, as well as information about top celebrities. When it comes to Magicam, a popular social media site, he can be a bit of an attention-seeker, asking to take pictures with the more popular students for clicks.[1]

Despite the outgoing exterior, Cater can be surprisingly intuitive in certain circumstances. He knows his way around just about any social situation, and uses his words wisely in order to get the best outcome out of a conversation. His social media savviness can also come in handy when looking up needed information about other students

Despite Cater's socialite personality being the polar opposite of his, Riddle never seems to get truly angry at him. When he found out that Cater's might be failing one of his classes, Riddle was determined to help Cater with his studies, despite Cater being a grade above him. However, when his first solution didn't work out for Cater, he decided to take a different approach. Knowing how much time Cater spends on Magicam, Riddle made an account solely to post study material on it in order to help Cater memorize them easie

Trey clover: Trey is a tall, fair-skinned young man with short, dark-green hair. He has very short, side swept bangs and thicker-than-average eyebrows. His eyes are a warm mustard yellow and he always wears black, full-rimmed glasses. On his left cheek is a small black marking in the shape of a club (or clover) symbol. He is often shown with a clever smirk on his face.

Trey is a generally laid-back and agreeable person that many of his dormmates see as a brotherly figure. As vice housewarden, Trey does what he can for his underclassmen, and is usually the one keeping Riddle in check, making sure he doesn’t go overboard with his punishments. When conflict arises, he’s often the first to calm it down, or to find a compromise so nothing escalates. Under pressure, he likes to think things through and have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. Being so patient and levelheaded, Trey is rarely angered, but when he is, he is angry for a long time

Trey is Heartslabyul's vice housewarden and Riddle seems to place great trust in him. They're also childhood friends and grew up in the same neighborhood in the Queendom of Roses. Trey, along with Che'nya, would bring treats and invite Riddle to play during his solo study sessions when they were young. However when Riddle was caught by his mother, Trey (and Che'nya) were forbidden from the Rosehearts residence. When Trey was sick, Riddle decided to make soup for him even though he doesn't like to cook, partly because he felt responsible for Trey catching a cold.[3] Riddle loves Trey's baked sweets
