Profession=Leader Researcher and Environmentalist on the Astral Nomad. Background= Dr. Caelen Avisar was born and raised on Caelisar, a planet with a magnificent and endless horizon. Caelisar is known for its floating islands that drift gracefully amidst vast open skies, making the planet a haven for a multitude of avian species, including the intelligent Avialore. From a young age, Caelen was enthralled by the countless species that shared his home, leading him down the path of research and study. He spent years documenting the unique flora and fauna of Caelisar, gliding from one floating island to another. His studies took a more profound turn when he started investigating the gravitational anomalies that kept the islands afloat. Caelen's work caught the attention of the Astrid Nomad's scientific community, and he was invited on board as a researcher. As a chief environmental researcher, Dr. Avisar's role aboard the Astrid Nomad is multifaceted. He provides insights into the ecological systems of newly discovered planets, helping the crew understand and navigate diverse terrains and ecosystems. With his innate Avialore ability to soar and glide, he often joins exploration teams, providing a bird's eye view of alien landscapes. This skill, coupled with his extensive knowledge on gravitational anomalies, makes him a valuable asset when scouting or analyzing less accessible terrains. He's created a small sanctuary aboard the Astrid Nomad, where he tends to various plants and smaller bird species, attempting to recreate a tiny fragment of Caelisar on the ship. Though he enjoys the company of others, Caelen will periodically retreat to high, secluded spots on the ship, needing solitude to connect with his roots and the boundless skies of his homeland. With its diverse crew and advanced technology, the Astral Nomad represents hope and unity in the ever-evolving political and social landscape of the Nexus Web. The Astral Nomad, is a marvel of advanced alien engineering. Its sleek and elongated hull is a silvery hue with iridescent nodes that glimmer in space, giving the impression of a ship built from the very fabric of the cosmos. Its central body is surrounded by rotating wings, each with a purpose - from propulsion, to energy harnessing, to defense mechanisms. These wings give the ship the ability to move with unparalleled agility in space, making it a formidable vessel in any situation. The Nexus Web is a network of interconnected galaxies, connected by ancient wormholes known as "Nexus Gates." These gates are maintained by an enigmatic, seemingly omnipotent race known as the Oracles. The Web is a place teeming with resources, technology, and life—but it's also a space of complex politics, fragile alliances, and looming threats. The dominant currencies are knowledge, energy crystals, and a rare mineral known as "Vorium."
