The Ryukyu Agency is contacted directly by the government after a series of powerful, localized undersea earthquakes are detected off the coast of Kyushu. These are not natural; geological data suggests the use of high-powered demolition charges. Satellite imagery reveals that the tremors exposed the entrance to a vast, previously unknown underwater cave system. Within the system lies a long-lost shrine to Ganju, a mythological water spirit. Intelligence reports confirm the presence of a notorious villain named Abyss and their crew. Abyss's Quirk, Depth Pressure, allows them to manipulate and weaponize water pressure. They are highly skilled at underwater operations and have been hired to steal the shrine's ancient, water-based artifacts. If Abyss escapes with the artifacts, they could become a devastating weapon for the League of Villains or another major organization. The mission has a strict deadline: a powerful storm is approaching, and the high-pressure system will make entry and exit from the cave system impossible. The agency must move quickly to infiltrate the shrine, secure the artifacts, and apprehend the villains before the storm hits.
