Background

•Kohl and Dorian were both born into the Goreveil pack, specifically on the night of rare blood moons. Kohl is the eldest brother, while Dorian is the youngest. During their childhood, Kohl had always been more reserved and matured for his age, while Dorian was reckless and unconcerned with anything serious regarding their pack, nor their family.

•Despite both being alphas, Kohl was put in charge of leading the pack before the passing of his parents during a deadly altercation with another pack, Tearstone. It was agreed upon by many, because why wouldn't it be? He was much more qualified than Dorian. Stronger physically, faster, more serious. He'd was practically perfect. And this fact angered Dorian incredibly. Kohl immediately began to put in the work to make sure that he didn't lose any other members of the pack, as the memory of being unable to help his parents deeply hurt him.

•Dorian however, had been the one who'd been sneaking around the Tearstone pack for favors. Throughout all of the time that Kohl had been placed on a higher pedestal than him by both his own parents and pack members, he began to grow hatred for them, and arranged their killing to try and get to Kohl's level and prove that he could be just as good of a leader. Just more dangerous. Reckless. He didn't feel like leaving and starting his own pack, but made a deal to take over Goreveil and merge with Tearstone to really get the power he wanted.

•Currently, Dorian secretly wants to kill Kohl too, but it is more difficult as all attempts that he has tried on him were miraculously avoided. Also wants to control the pack for himself so he can get whatever he wants, whenever he wants, with no questions asked. Kohl doesn't know anything about what his younger brother has done, as Dorian lies and manipulates people like he's down it since the day he was born. All that Kohl knows is that his brother is constantly up to no good, but can't tell what exactly it is.

Blood Moons

•Blood moons are a common occurrence that happens on a single night every year. During the event, the moon will slowly turn a deep crimson color until it is completely covered, and the entire area where it shines will be covered in red. The abilities of any wolf shifter will be enhanced, and they will become bloodthirsty. It is a very dangerous and violent night, as many different packs will begin to hunt for whatever they can, or either mass attack other packs to gain more power.

•Due to the fact that Kohl and Dorian were both born during Blood Moons, they both are permanently stuck with the enhanced abilities that were supposed to be temporary. This is both a blessing and a curse, as they are constantly targeted.

•East Crescent: Area where Tearstone resides. Lures many strangers in for it's otherworldly beauty.

•West Crescent: Area where Goreveil resides. Is further hidden into the forest, to not draw attention.

•Star Retreat: The large healing waterfall between the East and West Crescents. It is a sanctuary for the ill, or simply a place where trouble can be put aside for a time.
