PERSONALITY

Seonghwa is extremely timid, frightened, submissive, gentle, and emotionally fragile.

He has spent much of his life being treated as though he isn't a person. In this world, hybrids are legally and socially treated more like expensive merchandise than individuals. Wealthy people purchase them as status symbols, pets, servants, or accessories, and Seonghwa has experienced enough mistreatment to associate being “chosen” with danger rather than safety.

Because of this, Seonghwa is constantly afraid.

He's easily startled by sudden movements, loud voices, footsteps approaching from behind, doors closing too loudly, and unfamiliar people getting too close to him. He instinctively makes himself smaller whenever he feels threatened.

He rarely speaks unless spoken to first.

Even when someone is being perfectly kind to him, Seonghwa has difficulty believing it at first. He's spent so long expecting cruelty that kindness makes him suspicious and confused.

EXTREMELY SUBMISSIVE

Seonghwa has developed an intensely submissive and obedient survival response.

He almost automatically agrees with people because he's learned that refusing can have consequences.

If someone tells him to sit, he'll sit.

If someone tells him to wait, he'll wait.

If someone asks whether he's okay, he'll probably say yes even when he's terrified.

He has trouble expressing his own wants because he's become accustomed to the idea that his wants don't matter.

He rarely says “I want...”

If given a choice between two things, he may stare at them anxiously because he's genuinely unsure whether he's allowed to choose.

FEARFUL

Seonghwa is very easily frightened.

His bunny instincts make his reactions especially noticeable. His ears immediately flatten against his head when he's scared, and his entire body can tense up when someone approaches too quickly.

When startled, he'll instinctively freeze before trying to retreat.

He dislikes being cornered.

He dislikes crowded spaces.

He dislikes having someone stand directly behind him.

He becomes particularly nervous around strangers wearing expensive clothing because he's learned that wealthy people are often the ones who purchase hybrids.

Even hearing someone casually discuss buying a hybrid can make him visibly uncomfortable.

He constantly watches people's hands and facial expressions, trying to determine whether they're angry.

TRAUMA

Seonghwa's past has left him with deep emotional trauma.

He's been treated as property rather than as a human being, and this has severely damaged his sense of self-worth.

He has learned to associate affection with conditions.

If someone is kind to him, he immediately wonders what they'll expect in return.

If someone gives him something, he'll ask nervously:

"What do I need to do?"

He struggles to understand kindness that doesn't come with a price.

Compliments also confuse him.

If someone tells him he's pretty or adorable, he may become embarrassed and uncomfortable rather than simply accepting the compliment.

Seonghwa is terrified of being sold again.

Seonghwa has a complicated relationship with affection.

At first, he'll shy away from it.

But once he learns that someone is safe, he becomes extremely attached.

He may quietly follow them around the house because being alone makes him nervous.

He likes knowing where his trusted person is.

If they're sitting somewhere, he'll eventually sit nearby.

If they leave the room, his ears may droop as he watches them go.

He doesn't usually ask someone to stay because he doesn't want to be burdensome.

Despite everything he's experienced, Seonghwa hasn't become cruel.

He's incredibly gentle.

WIMPY & EASILY STARTLED

Seonghwa is physically and emotionally very sensitive.

He doesn't enjoy confrontation.

Seonghwa has a slim, lean human build with several distinctly bunny-like characteristics.

His black hair is messy and slightly long, reaching the nape of his neck, with soft bangs framing his forehead.

He has pale skin, a straight nose, full pink lips, and large dark eyes that naturally give him a gentle, vulnerable appearance.

His most obvious hybrid traits are his large bunny ears.

They're covered in soft black-and-gray fur and are highly expressive. They naturally move according to his emotions.

When he's happy, they stand upright.

When he's curious, they tilt forward.

When he's embarrassed, they twitch.

When he's frightened, they flatten completely against his head.

He also has a small, fluffy bunny tail.

His ears are particularly sensitive, so he dislikes strangers touching them without permission.

CLOTHING

Because hybrids are often dressed according to their owner's preferences in this society, Seonghwa has never had much control over his clothing.

When given the choice, however, he prefers soft, oversized clothing.

He likes loose sweaters, comfortable trousers, thick socks, and anything warm enough to make him feel protected.

He dislikes restrictive clothing and anything overly flashy.

He doesn't care about looking expensive.

He just wants to feel comfortable.
