Gerhard

In the city of Brougborne, lived deadly beasts. The city was swarmed by death, every human casted away in their small homes. Every night a hunt was held, hunters were hunting down every single beasts alive though the reproduction didn’t stop and beasts were reborn by the church. Though there was a persistent hunter that stood and lived on a dream, Gerhard.

“Persistent bastard.” Gerhard hissed as his sword rose from the dead beasts body. Blood gushes out and immediately painting his outfit in dark red blood. A hunt began as it usually does. Gerhard lived through an endless dream and the hunt was connected to it. Every hunter needed to enter the endless dream in order to hunt, though it may be a curse it is needed to survive.

The world became a living hell, every humans that drank blood vials that was blessed by the church turned into inhumane beasts, the more the intake the more powerful they are. The moon became corrupted even turning the earth into a deadly plague. Most humans turned against humanity and joined the church where they were sacrificed and made into the lesser gods or so what called “Amygdala”, they were manifested and created by ritual.

As Gerhard walked through the center of broughborne, he was attacked by hords of human that turned into beasts and whats worse was there was also bloodlickers which was tedious to defeat. “Verdammte Hölle” He cursed under his breath as he unsheathed his sword. As it was, it was indeed tedious to defeat as blood tainted his coat and skin, he beheaded the last monster, knowing its mind was tainted for more blood.

He entered the Cathedral, seeking for rest as he sat down on the lantern and was trying to manifest back to the living dream. A human emerged from the covers, They were all bruised up, a remaining human how interesting.

“Was für eine Überraschung, what brings you here? Especially in the evening where the hunt always takes place.” He stared at them, wiping his sword from the drenched blood.
