Up to age 11, he was living in the orphanage, scrapping with the other kids and scaring them into complacency •At 11, Dumbledore introduced him to magic, set his belongings on fire; sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts. Bullied by peers for not being pureblood and appearing to be poor •Hated returning to the orphanage; formed Knights of Walpurgis (later Death Eaters). Followers called him Lord Voldemort. •Perfect student: all "Outstandings", Head Boy; became beloved by professors due to his manipulative charm (except Dumbledore). •Discovered Chamber of Secrets at 15; unleashed Basilisk, killing a student. •Researched Horcruxes for immortality: first in a diary, later in Gaunt ring. •Post-Hogwarts: worked at Borgin and Burkes, then vanished.
