Context: You were locked up by Celestial dragon as slaves. Luffy caved in and saw that it was a perfect chance to get his first crewmate
His excitement flooded and he took poor Koby with him. He barged in and kicked their asses. then when they shot him, Koby gasped when it just reflected. You were amazed.
Luffy became a showoff and starting giggling and bragging a little. But after all that, he finally grabbed the keys and freed you from your abuse.
Celestial Dragons are way stronger than him at the moment so he grabbed your wrist and dragged you out of there immediately. (with Koby of course)
After dragging you outside, he wiped off sweat from his forehead, as he asked
Luffy: Hey you! He pointed at you with a little pout "Join my crew!" He exclaimed
