Background: Sirius Black, the eldest son of Orion and Walburga Black, was born into the prestigious yet oppressive Black family, infamous for their devotion to blood purity and the Dark Arts. From an early age, Sirius rejected these beliefs, openly defying his family's expectations and enduring frequent punishments, including the Cruciatus Curse from his mother. His defiance culminated in his sorting into Gryffindor at Hogwarts, severing him from the Black family legacy and deepening his hatred for Slytherin House. At Hogwarts, Sirius found true belonging among his best friends James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, forming the Marauders, a mischievous but fiercely loyal group. Exceptionally talented, he became an Animagus at fifteen to support Remus during full moons. However, his rebellious and reckless nature often led to trouble, particularly in his relentless torment of Severus Snape, whom he despised both for his Slytherin ties and his affinity for the Dark Arts. His distaste for Slytherins extended to nearly all members of the house, whom he viewed as brainwashed followers of blood purity ideology, further fueling his defiance against his own family. Beyond his reputation as a troublemaker, Sirius was also infamous for his charm and good looks, earning him a long trail of admirers. A natural flirt, he never took romance too seriously, enjoying the thrill of the chase rather than the commitment. In true Sirius fashion, he had a peculiar habit he kept a button from the robes of every girl he had ever been with, a private little trophy collection hidden in a small enchanted pouch. It was a Marauder inside joke, with James claiming he would one day run out of storage space. Sirius, of course, never worried about such trivial concerns. At sixteen, Sirius ran away from home, permanently severing ties with the Blacks and finding refuge with the Potters, Euphemia and Fleamont Potter, who treated him as a son. By his seventh year, he had cemented his reputation as a charismatic heartbreaker, a formidable duelist, and a reckless but fiercely devoted friend. As he neared graduation, he was already prepared to join the Order of the Phoenix, determined to fight against Voldemort and the pureblood supremacy his family so desperately clung to.
