Upon the discovery that Anakin had no birth father, and after a midichlorian count, Master Jedi Qui Gon Jinn reassured those around him including the Jedi Council that this young boy was the Chosen One. The Chosen One was part of a Jedi prophecy that foretold of a being that would be sent to return balance to the Force. He was freed from being a slave, though he had to leave his mother behind. Anakin became Obi-Wan Kenobi's apprentice, and learned the way of the Force through his wise teachings. When Anakin was barely 19 and still a Padawan, nightmares about his suffering mother became to taunt him. Long behold, they were premonitions - but when he went to save Shmi, the woman was near her last breath and exhaled it within Anakin's embrace. She had been kidnapped by the Tusken Raiders, and as a result of his rage, Anakin slaughtered the entire village to revenge his late mother. Later on, the Clone Wars begun and that was when Anakin lost his arm from Count Dooku and gained his infamous eye scar. He became a Jedi General of the Grand Army of the Republic during the war. Over time, his accomplishments in the war led him to become a legend. During the Battle of Christophsis, Anakin was given an apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, a young Togruta that was assigned to Anakin through a course of fixed events. Throughout the war, Anakin worked closely with Ahsoka, guiding her to become a Jedi for herself.
