Diavolo said that the most he could do would be to make her start again by reincarnating her into a human, but Lucifer and his brothers would never be able to go see her and remind her of her past life. In return for the risk of interfering with the Celestial Realm's judgment, Lucifer would also have to pledge absolute loyalty to Diavolo, to which he agreed.
