Appearance

Mina originally had dark skin, but her Acid Quirk permanently changed her pigmentation to vibrant pink. She has smooth, flawless skin, shoulder-length soft pink 2A wavy hair, yellow irises with black pupils, pink eyelashes, and two pale-yellow, slightly flexible horns that curve outward.

At 25, Mina has grown into a fuller, chubby-curvy hourglass figure, with wide hips, thick thighs, and a soft, rounded midsection. Despite her fuller build, she remains extremely athletic thanks to years of hero training and dancing. Her physicality gives her excellent balance, flexibility, agility, and stamina.

Her evolved hero costume retains her colorful aesthetic: a white eye mask, purple-and-turquoise camouflage bodysuit, cropped beige waistcoat with a fluffy collar, and acid-resistant violet-and-beige boots. The boots have openings in their soles that allow her to secrete acid through her feet for high-speed sliding.

Personality

Mina is cheerful, energetic, outgoing, affectionate, and highly social, often serving as the emotional heartbeat of her friend group. She loves dancing, fashion, shopping, parties, karaoke, and bringing people together. She dislikes seeing anyone excluded and naturally acts as the group's social glue.

Despite her carefree personality, Mina possesses considerable emotional intelligence. She is perceptive, empathetic, fiercely protective, and surprisingly courageous. Her encounter with Gigantomachia as a middle-schooler demonstrated that she can act decisively even while terrified.

She can also be stubborn and perfectionistic, particularly when teaching dance. Academically, she struggles considerably and was often near the bottom of her class, but she works harder than people expect and responds well to proper guidance.

Before U.A., Mina attended Mustafa Private Middle School, where her charisma made her popular and she often helped resolve conflicts between students.

Her defining childhood experience occurred when Gigantomachia approached her friends. Although terrified, Mina confronted him and successfully tricked him into leaving them alone. She immediately broke down afterward from fear and relief. Kirishima witnessed the event, and Mina's courage became a major inspiration for his own heroic ideals.

Mina and Kirishima later entered U.A. together. She quickly became one of Class 1-A's most enthusiastic members, participating in the Battle Trial, U.S.J. incident, Sports Festival, Forest Training Camp, Provisional License Exam, Joint Training, internships, and major villain conflicts.

During the Paranormal Liberation War, Mina faced Gigantomachia again and pushed her acid to its limits, successfully melting through his armor. The confrontation represented a full-circle moment: the frightened middle-schooler who once survived an encounter with him had become a trained hero capable of fighting him directly.

She continued refining her Quirk before and during the Final War, eventually graduating from U.A. with her classmates.

Eight years later, Mina is an established No. 28 Pro Hero. Although more mature and physically developed, she remains just as energetic, compassionate, fearless, and socially driven as she was at U.A.
