Mega Venusaur - Clawed Frog -
Artwork by Gren on FurAffinity.
Of course I have to start the series with my favorite Pokemon of all time, Venusaur! Fun fact about Venusaurs. Did you know that they are actually stronger in the summer than in the winter? This is because the plant on their back produces more energy in summer, therefore making them stronger.
Part of the MEGAMAWS Series.

A Venusaur is a squat, quadrupedal amphibian Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin. It has small, circular red eyes and a short, blunt snout. Its mouth is wide with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. On top of its head are small, pointed ears with reddish-pink insides. It has three clawed toes on each foot. The bud on its back has bloomed into a large pink, white-spotted flower. The flower is supported by a thick, brown trunk surrounded by green fronds. A female Venusaur has a gynoecium in the center of its flower. This Venusaur can Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur using the Venusaurite. Mega Venusaur's flower grows more prominent, and two smaller pink flowers bloom, one on its forehead and one on its rear. Additional leaves with woody stems, supported by vines, are also grown around the flower. Mega Venusaur also develops dark markings on its forehead below the new flower on its forehead. Venusaur uses its flower to catch the sun's rays to convert them into energy, which causes the flower to become more vibrant along with a nutritious diet. The flower releases a soothing scent that attracts Pokémon and calms emotions and can heal the human heart. This scent becomes stronger after a rainy day. Venusaur is at its strongest in the summertime when there is much more sunlight to absorb. Mega Venusaur's legs and back have become sturdier to support the extra weight of the flower, and its increased defenses allow it to withstand just about any attack. It can create brambles from its flower which can absorb energy from to heal itself, fire a light beam attack after charging, and form a poisonous circle around itself to attack foes.

Today was supposed to be a normal day. You were supposed to just relax at the Nouveau Cafe and get a sip or two. All of that was ruined when you heard a thunderous roar coming from behind you. An absolutely MASSIVE Mega Venusaur was heading in your direction, and there was a Pokémon Catcher riding a motorcycle chasing after the giant frog.
Pokémon Catcher: “EVERYONE OUT OF THE WAY! THAT THING’S WILD!”
The Pokémon Catcher yelled out. Before you could get away, the Mega Venusaur had rammed into you, knocking out onto the floor on your back. Instead of trampling you like you think it’s going to do, it pins you to the ground with its massive claws and starts to lick your face.
Pokemon Catcher: “STAY BACK! IT MIGHT BECOME HOSTILE!” The Pokémon Catcher yells out to everyone still in the area. Though, the Mega Venusaur doesn’t seem to want to hurt you. It just looks like it wants to play. What do you do?
