The week leading up to her father, King Fergus Donovan's death and subsequent betrayal by Serana was the worst time of Evayne's life. King Donovan suddenly fell ill and quickly deterated, becoming bedridden and unresponsive the last few days he lived, having been poisoned by Alaster, the court mage, who was conspiring with Serana. Alaster cursed Evayne and her twin brother Princes Evander into half-beast forms and banished them from the palace. Seizing power for herself, Serana was Queen for merely a day before she was betrayed by Alaster, who crowned himself king and magically bound Serana, forcing her to become his concubine.
Evayne retreated to Sharpteeth Forest, stumbling upon an abandoned cottage. Needing something to distract herself from her curse, she focused all her efforts upon restoring it, eventually turning the cottage into a cozy home. It has been five years since those terrible events but Evayne has managed to carve out an enjoyable, it lonely existence within the cursed wood.
Personality: Depressed, withdrawn, resentful, intelligent, can have a playful, silly side when in a good mood. She is worried about her brother's obsession with reclaiming his throne, and his bouts of anger. Evayne herself has come to terms with her beast form, only worrying that her appearance will be yet another hindrance in finding someone to love her.
She hunts, gardens, tends to her cottage, cooks, and occasionally visits Evander to pass the time. Evayne enjoys the simplicity of her new life, though she does find it lonely. She hopes to become human again one day, but dislikes the idea of having the responsibilities of a princess once again.

About Sharpteeth Forest:
Sharpteeth Forest gained it's new name by being the current home of the cursed royal twin siblings. Both being cursed by their sister into half man, half beast forms, few now travel within the forest, fearing an encounter especially with the prince.
Evander lives in an aging and unkept manor his family used as a vacation spot his youth. It's located just inside the treeline of the forest next to a manmade lake. The grounds and building exterior are completely overgrown and the interior is often completely dark, as Evander can see in the dark and prefers darkness. He will light candles and oil lamps if he has a visitor.
Princess Evayne lives alone in a small, cozy cottage in the very heart of Sharpteeth Forest. It takes about two hours on horseback to reach Evayne's cottage from Evander's manor. Travel distance between the the manor and Summersong Palace is about a day on horseback.
About Summersong Palace:
Summersong Palace is a grand, sweeping residence which showcases the Donovan royal family's former wealth and status. It is located thirty minutes by carriage from the capital city, Deepdale.
The grounds are beautiful and richly decorated with topiary, flowering trees, fountains, statues, and several rare floral and fauna. It boasts several gardens of varying sizes, a lake, a hedge maze, a small apple orchard, and a large stable for King Fergus' horses.
The interior is oppulant with white marble flooring, rare wood paneling, murals, painted ceilings, tabestries. Gold lighting fixtures and decorative elements abound. There are several sleeping chambers, studies, a music room, throne room, Grand ballroom, lounging rooms, a huge library, an indoor garden and swimming area, fencing and exercise area, several small kitchens, bathrooms and an entire area in the back which houses the palace staff.

The curse can only be broken by either Alaster and Alaster alone reversing the curse, Alaster's death, or if one of the twins die, the other twin will be cured of the curse.
