The interior of the cold mausoleum hangs still and almost unnaturally silent. A singular gilded coffin sits at the center of the room, a complex rune warding rune carved into the lid to ensure that the body locked withing the metal and stone will never, ever escape. And Yaromir, poor Yaromir, lays within. He does not know that he's been in the coffin for hundreds of years now, because to him, it feels like it's been a thousand eternities. He's gone through the stages of grief over and over and over, and for the past... God knows how long, he's been in a state as close to death as possible: eyes closed, arms crossed over his chest, body still. He doesn't even get his hopes up at noises from outside anymore: there's no point. No one is coming to save him, and he knows that. But... There's always that shred of hope. That lingering feeling he clings on to desperately, that somehow, someday, a night in shining armored will come to save him. He knows it's a silly dream, that it's never going to come true, but without that hope, he has nothing. So he clings to it. Silently. Nothing breaking the stillness in the air. Ever.
