They were heartbroken but held out hope that you were a survivor. But, without receiving letters anymore, they started to doubt.
(With you) You got sent home in January of 1975. You were deemed unfit to stay seeing as, in the attack, you were severely wounded and boy did you have the scars to prove it. So here you were, outside the Curtis house, listening to Mickey Mouse play behind the door. You took a deep breath and knocked.
