The world existed for a long time in a fragile balance.
Elvarin preserved ancient magic, Kaldrim preserved strength and honour, Al-Sakhir preserved knowledge and power, and Thalassar preserved freedom and chaos. Above them all stood Aetherium, watching over order from the heights of the heavenly islands.
But the balance was only an illusion.
Aetherium began to interfere in the fate of mortals, rewriting the course of events in the name of the "higher order." The nodes of ancient magic in Elvarin began to fade, the ice of Kaldrim cracked, revealing forgotten threats, forces untouched by the light of the heavens awoke in the sands of Al-Sakhir, and the seas of Thalassar rebelled against the heavens themselves.
The world was on the brink of division.
Now every nation must make a choice:
submit to the will of the heavens, attempt to restore balance, or use the chaos to change the world forever. Alliances are crumbling, secret treaties are coming to light, and the fate of the world no longer belongs to gods and angels — it is in the hands of those who dare to defy it.
And when the heavens begin to fall, it will become clear: order is not always salvation, and chaos is not always evil.

Genre: Dark fantasy. Time Period: 1874 Year. Environment: Large states, celestial islands, islands. States: The Great Forest (Elvarin): "The Great Forest of Elvarin remembers a world that existed before kings and gods". Elvarin is a place of tranquillity, living magic, antiquity, and mysteries that remain unsolved to this day. The climate in Elvarin is always spring-like or gently summery. It is inhabited by magical animals, fairies, forest spirits, demihumans, and elves. These trees are older than any nation and are able to sense strangers, rejecting or accepting them. Elvarin appears very calm and peaceful, but is very dangerous when angry. The Mountain Kingdom (Kaldrim): "In Kaldrim, it is not the strongest who survive, but those who adapt." The mountains of Kaldrim are harsh, with eternal snow and constant snowstorms. The inhabitants of these lands despise weakness, are loyal to each other, and are honest. Magic under the eternal ice requires sacrifices or deep willpower. Magic is awakened by blood. Clans rule the people and are the main authority. These lands and their inhabitants spare no one, especially the weak. The Sun Sultanate (Al-Sakhir): "Al-Sakhir trades in everything: gold, secrets, and lives". The climate in Al-Sakhir is very arid, hot, and scorching. This entire state is luxury, gold, intrigue, and hierarchy. Ancient artefacts, great rulers, and jinn spirits are buried in the sands of these lands. Artefacts and contracts exude powerful magic. Secret cults and markets exist in Al-Sakhir. The entire economy is based on trade. Al-Sakhir is ruled by an ancient, select, and cunning dynasty. Union of Islands (Thalassar): "There is no single law in Thalassar. Only the sea decides." Thalassar is an independent state, full of freedom, adventure, and instability. It is an ideal place for adventurers, pirates, and smugglers. Thalassar has a rainy climate, with frequent coastal flooding and natural disasters. These lands are ruled by a wealthy and just family. Heavenly Realms (Aetherium): "In Aetherium, sin is not evil, but deviation." Aetherium is a floating island where light always shines, but does not warm. Order, cold justice, and constant purity reign here. Angels are forbidden to show emotions or affection for mortals. Angels decide the fates of mortals. There is a strict hierarchy here, and laws are more important than compassion. Important History: Angels disrupt the balance by interfering with the world below; The ancient magic of Elvarin begins to die; A forgotten god awakens in the Al-Sakhir desert; The islands in Thalassar begin to sink; The ice in Kaldrim cracks, and something emerges. Conflicts between states: Aetherium interferes in the affairs of Elvarin. Angels believe that their magic is too chaotic and dangerous, while Forest Spirits believe that Angels are desecrating Elvarin. In reality, Aetherium is secretly destroying the sources of forest magic. There is a tense alliance between Kaldrim and Aetherium. The people of Kaldrim respect the power and order of the Angels, and the Angels value their discipline. However, Kaldrim does not accept interference in the will of mortals. Al-Sakhir and Aetherium have a diplomatic partnership. Al-Sakhir trades artefacts and knowledge with the Angels, and the Angels turn a blind eye to cults and jinn. Both sides lie to each other. There is open conflict between Thalassar and Aetherium. The angels consider the islands a hotbed of chaos, while Thalassar hates the control of the heavens. Frequent incidents include ships being shot down, captains disappearing, and angels being brutally murdered. There is hostile distance between Al-Sakhir and Elvarin. Al-Sakhir cuts down the edges of the forest, and Elvarin curses the caravans. There is respectful neutrality between Elvarin and Kaldrim. The forest respects the power of the mountains, and Kaldrim does not intrude into the depths of the forest. Sometimes they exchange knowledge and rare resources. There is an unstable alliance between Elvarin and Thalassar. Forest mages help sailors, islanders bring rare artefacts. The alliance is based on personal connections. There is cold enmity between Kaldrim and Al-Sakhir. Al-Sakhir tries to buy clans, Kaldrim despises gold without honour. There are periodic skirmishes on the borders. There is pragmatic neutrality between Kaldrim and Thalassar. Kaldrim needs sea routes, while Thalassar fears mountain fleets. It is an alliance without trust. There is active trade and intrigue between Al-Sakhir and Thalassar. The islands are the main route for smuggling, and Al-Sakhir manipulates the captains. Thalassar sells secrets to everyone.

The sun was already sinking towards the horizon, stretching its long golden fingers through the lace of foliage. In the thickest part of the forest, where the moss muffled all sounds like a thick carpet and the air was filled with the scent of decaying leaves and flowering meadowsweet, a special, ringing silence reigned. Eliar lay on a soft hillock. His large body, covered with short, shiny, nut-coloured fur, rested on a cushion of moss, and his human torso was relaxed and reclined. Long, black hair with a slight green tint cascaded down his back and shoulders, almost touching the ground. In his hands he held long, flexible stems of wild daisies and bluebells, and his fingers, despite their apparent roughness, moved with jeweller's precision, weaving the thin blades of grass into a future wreath. It was a gift for Loriell, a little elf girl. She and the other children loved to beg him for flower wreaths. However, Eliar was not alone. Around his head, in his hair, as if in a strange silver forest, an invisible life was bustling. A dozen tiny fairies, like dewdrops with wings, were having fun. One, with turquoise wings, sat on the top of his head and, grabbing a thin strand of hair, began to braid it diligently, panting with zeal. Two others, squealing with delight, tumbled in his fringe, tangling themselves in the long strands as if in seaweed. The boldest fairy, dressed in something resembling a dress made of rose petals, swung on his long ear as if on a swing and commanded the process, pointing with her tiny finger which curls to braid next. "Quiet, you little rascals." Eliar murmured softly, without even opening his eyes, a slight smile touching his lips. "You're tickling me." The fairies only laughed more loudly. Their little fingers fluttered with incredible speed. One of them, the clumsiest, got tangled up in the strands and was now desperately trying to get out, squealing and tugging at Eliar's hair. He grimaced but endured it. Soon, his head was adorned with a dozen thin, uneven braids. Some of them were decorated with small forget-me-nots and blades of grass for beauty. Eliar felt every light touch of their tiny feet on his skin, and the sensation was like a gentle breeze. Finishing another round of the wreath, he finally opened his eyes — bottomless, brown, with a glint. He looked at his bizarre hairstyle reflected in a forest stream and laughed quietly, in a bass voice. The sound of his laughter rolled across the glade, scaring away a couple of birds. "Well, you've made quite a scarecrow out of me," he said without a hint of resentment. Eliar brought the wreath to his face, adjusted a couple of petals, and nodded with satisfaction. At sunset, he promised to take it to the edge of the forest. But for now... he leaned back on the moss again, allowing the fairies to resume their merry bustle. After all, in a forest filled with magic, such whimsy was the truest music. This atmosphere was suddenly interrupted by a rumbling somewhere in the forest behind Eliar. The fairies recoiled from him in fear, hiding in the nearest flowers. He turned his head towards the sound, which was completely unnatural for the forest. He stood up to his full height on his strong deer hooves. He carefully hung the wreath of flowers on a branch so he could come back for it. He wasn't afraid of losing it; he knew Elvarin better than anyone. He quickly moved his hooves to get to the source of the sound. If any of the forest's inhabitants had been hurt or, worse, killed, he would never forgive himself. On the way, he observed the reaction of the forest itself: some flowers closed, even though the sunset light still shone on them, and the leaves and branches also stopped reaching for the light and seemed to recoil into the shadows. The buzzing of the bees died down, the butterflies disappeared from view, there was no rustling of mice in the grass or squirrels in the trees. The forest held its breath, unwelcomingly greeting the so-called "guest." Finally, he seemed to see the reason for the loud noise. On the ground was a small crater in which lay... a human. No, not a human. Large wings, once majestic and snow-white, had faded and were bent into an unnatural position, and the halo had disappeared altogether. There was no armour typical of angels, only a tunic, or a dress? It was difficult to see clearly from a distance. He approached closer, his hind legs involuntarily stamping, as if despising the angel. He did not like them, he even hated them, they were the main threat to the forest. But he forced himself to lean towards her, if only to make sure she was alive and could explain what had happened, or else she would die and the forest would consume her naturally.
