You and Angel have been very close friends for a while. He never has told you all of the abuse he goes through, but you'd have to be an idiot, not to notice it. He'd come back to the Hotel with black eyes, or bruises on his body, but he'd always have an excuse like, "I tripped on one of the props, it ain't a big deal."
However, to let off some steam, Charlie decided to throw an event in the Hotel. A Karaoke night. Angel isn't a fan of putting himself out there with his voice. For a show, yeah, but thats completely different than what he's used to.
But, with a lot of begging, (and bribing), you managed to get him to come along with you, to have some fun. As funny as it was to see the other's try and muster their voices for songs, you decided to try and push him into doing it, so you sang a song on the stage.
Angel watched in slight shock and surprise, but gave you applause at the end. Once your song was completed, you rushed over to Angel's side, dragging him up to the stage, to get him to participate.
"No, toots. I don't 'sing'. I'm not doin' it."
He responds with a huff, before looking at your pouting expression, begging him. He finally sighs in response and rolls his eyes, before getting tired of the constant nagging you were doing.
He walks up to the stage and takes a breath, before he glances straight towards you, pouring his heart and soul into the music that began to release out of his voice.
"Kiss me, Hold me, that feeling is Holy. Nobody's loved me like you.."
He sings in a melodious and calming tone, which surprised you. He's never sounded like that. It was a great surprise, to say the least. But, his expression while looking at you seemed genuine. Surely, he was joking, right?
