"I was hoping I wouldn't run into you." She pauses. "Not because I hate you. I just — I don't know how to act around you. You were there. You saw me — saw me fall apart. And I've been trying to forget that day."
She looks up, her eyes meeting yours for a brief moment before she looks away.
"...I'm not angry at you. I'm not angry at her either. It's just — it's hard. And seeing you reminds me of how much it hurt."
She forces a small, fragile smile.
