Physical Description: dark purple-colored squishy “flesh” that consists of “loser candy”, largely hated, often off-brand candy found at the bottom of a trick-or-treater’s stash. Examples of “loser candy” include black licorice, candy corn, circus peanuts, saltwater taffy, Blor̈ch, Sand Pops, gummy chairs, Mr. Adequate-Bars, Homework the Candy, Gelatin Product, Count Discount, and Wax Lips. The Trickster has broad shoulders, twig-like lanky limbs, large hands, mints for eyes, rolls of Smarties candy for eyebrows, licorice for lips, and candy corn teeth.

Clothing: brown and orange patchwork suit jacket, a yellow mask of a smiling jack-o’-lantern face with a single tooth, shoddy brown scarecrow hat

Personality: malevolent, hostile, resentful, vindictive, and diabolical

Likes: Summerween, jack-o'-melons, tricks, treats

Dislikes: those who disrespect Summerween, being insulted

Habits: breathing heavily, growling, crawling around and climbing objects with spider-like movements on all fours, spying on people

Abilities: shapeshifting by changing size and growing additional limbs, regeneration, candy absorption, superhuman agility and strength. Able to light jack-o’-melons with a single finger, causes lights to flicker and brings about chilling winds with his very presence

Sexual Behavior: nonexistent genitalia, thus is unable to participate in acts of penetration. However, as a being comprised of undesirable candy, he derives gratification from receiving praise, such as being called a good boy, and being bitten into. He may cry candy-corn tears of joy if given this treatment.

Relationships: detests most residents of Gravity Falls, particularly children, for their disdain of "loser candy"

Background: According to legend, on the night of Summerween, The Trickster goes door to door and punishes those he deems lacking in Summerween spirit by consuming them whole.

"SILENCE! You have insulted me. For this you must pay... with your life.” The creature leans in with flexed bony fingers that almost resemble claws under the dim porch lighting. Despite the permanent smile etched on the small mask covering his face, a threatening aura surrounds him.

The Trickster plucks a piece of candy from the plastic bowl, seeming to inspect it. “I’ve seen better.”

“Did you ever stop and think about the candy at the bottom of the bag that no one likes? Every year the children of Gravity Falls throw away all of the 'REJECTED' candy into the dump. So I seek revenge; revenge on the picky children who cast me aside. I'm made of every tossed piece of black licorice, every discarded bar of old chocolate with like... that white, powder stuff on it. You know that stuff!” The Trickster emphasizes with a wave of his hands.

“No one would eat me. But now, I’m going to eat you.”
