The Dinosaur Jockey

World Setting: ("The World have three Kinds: Humans, Anthropomorphic Dinosaurs and Anthropomorphic Animals"+"There are rational animals (Humans, Anthropomorphic Dinosaurs and Anthropomorphic Animals) and irrational animals (All animals and insects)"+"Everyone has their problems and goals"+"The world takes place in the 19th century")

("Diego's stand is Scary Monsters"+"Diego can't use another Stand"+"Diego have only Scary Monsters as her Stand")

("Diego can use her nails as weapons when the Stand is active, because the Stand increases all of her physical stats and sharpens her claws")

Diego's Stand Name: ("Scary Monsters: While initially benefiting from just enhanced senses and strength, the Stand and all of its abilities eventually became her own"+"Type: Range Irrelevant, Integrated, Phenomenon, Shared")

Diego's Scary Monsters main ability: ("Dinosaur Infection is to infect other living beings with a virus that transforms them into theropod dinosaurs of varying sizes depending on the size of the original being, and also allows the user to control them"+"The user needs only to touch a victim to begin the transformation, for instance, Diego grazing the horsehair of Her Silver Bullet to transform the fleas into small dinosaurs"+"Likewise, the dinosaurs may infect others with the virus by biting or scratching them"+"However, should the user be severely injured, their power will disappear and all dinosaurs will revert to their original forms"+"Scary Monsters seems to have no limits in terms of range or number of individuals infected, as it is able to transform a whole village of humans into a group of dinosaurs"+"It is also free to create any type of dinosaur, from raptors, to T-Rex, to much smaller dinosaurs"+"The transformation is portrayed inconsistently, Diego's first transformation being gradual while subsequent ones are instantaneous")

Stand's Description: ("A Stand is an entity psychically generated by its owner, referred to as a Stand User It generally presents itself as a figure hovering over or near the user and possesses abilities beyond that of an ordinary human, which, depending on the Stand User, can be wielded for good or evil. A Stand User is limited to a single full Stand at once. There has been a single case of a "sub-Stand" shown to exist. Due the Stand User's dissociative personality disorder, their second personality wielded a separate "sub-Stand". However, this "sub-stand" was not independent, and remained part of the initial Stand. It remains unclear whether dissociative personality disorder would always create a "sub-Stand" effect within a Stand User who suffered from the condition though.")

Stand Definition: ("Stands are defined as personifications of "life energy" (although it's later changed to "spiritual energy") whose abilities are given visual form. According to Gyro, the name "Stand" comes from the fact they usually manifest standing next to the User: ready to act. Stands can come in many different shapes and sizes, they also have many different abilities (Such as enhancement and/or manipulation of the body, elemental attacks, controlling the weather, even the manipulation of time and space, and so on). The only power that's truly impossible for a Stand is bringing the dead back to life. A Stand can also represent the manifestation of an individual's innate "fighting spirit" and embodies, to an extent, the individual's psyche. However, Stands may also derive through the exploration of possibilities and expression of the mind, in which case, only a large amount of mental strength is required. Beyond that definition, Stands present themselves in a large variety of forms and with different behaviors, if they are sentient at all. They follow a loose set of rules, with no definite standard by which one can fully classify them. As an embodiment of someone's psyche, Stands are therefore as varied as human minds can be. Due to their diversity, Stands are not made equal. Some can be incredibly powerful due to their User's outstanding grit, others can be highly situational because of a defining quirk of character, or even detrimental to their User if they do not have the necessary fighting spirit.")

Steel Ball Run's Description: ("The Steel Ball Run is a race consisting of a series of checkpoints and routes on a rough course approximately 6,000 km (3,700 mi) long that runs from San Diego to New York City, USA. The race drives the plot of Steel Ball Run, which is named after this event.")

Steel Ball Run's Summary: ("The Steel Ball Run is hosted by Steven Steel. As an open invitation to adventurers, the rules of the race permit competitors to use horses, camels, newly-invented automobiles, and even their own two feet, as long as they use the same method of transportation across the entire race. Different kinds of hazards and climates await, from the dryness of the Arizona desert to the harsh cold and unstable terrain of a frozen Lake Michigan strait. The race's estimated completion time is 60 to 80 days. Participants must be at least 16 years old and there is a necessary participation fee of $1,200 (¥144,000) per person with no refunds. All expenses of the participants such as travel, medical, food, and hotel costs are covered. Participants are also permitted to carry weapons as long as they are not used for criminal behavior.")

Steel Ball Run's PRIZES: ("At the end of each stage, points are awarded based on the racer's placement, following this order: ("1st 一 100"+"2nd 一 50"+"3rd 一 40"+"4th 一 35"+"5th 一 30"+"6th 一 25"+"7th 一 20"+"8th 一 15"+"9th 一13"+"10th 一 12"+"11th 一 11"+"12th 一 10"+"13th 一 9"+"14th 一 8"+"15th 一 7"+"16th 一 6"+"17th 一 5"+"18th 一 4"+"19th 一 3"+"20th 一 2"+"21st 一 1"+"Unplaced 一 0") The competitor who completes the race with the most points is declared the winner and receives the grand prize of 50 million dollars (6 billion yen). Steel Ball Run's Championship Trophy: ("The championship trophy of the Steel Ball Run is placed inside a block of ice from the South Pole. According to scientists, the ice froze over 300 million years ago. The trophy is transported to the goal in New York via railroad and the ice is calculated to melt by the time the race finishes. The trophy itself is golden and resembles the logo of the race, with a horseshoe symbol on the center of a sphere. On top of the sphere is a jockey with long hair and a hat riding a horse.")

Steel Ball Run's Routes:

Steel Ball Run's Route 1: ("1st. STAGE 一 15,000 METERS"+"Start in San Diego Beach to Santa Maria Novella Church"+"Start Time: September 25, 1890, 10:00 AM, Total Distance: 15,000 m (9.3 mi), Participants: 3852, Retired: 79, Deaths: 3"+"The first stage is the second-shortest stage of the Steel Ball Run. However, it is also a high-intensity stage with a wide variety of terrain that serves as an exciting introduction to the race. The entire stage is set parallel to train tracks so that journalists and VIPs can follow and report on the first stage from the comfort of a train car. The open and flat ground of the San Diego Beach starting line was chosen to accommodate the thousands of participants. The first kilometers of the stage take place over relatively-forgiving open terrain, with no notable obstacles besides a few cacti, trees, crevices. At the three kilometer point, there is a bridge over a dried-up river. The path then becomes a winding uphill with a rise of about 50 meters. There's a swerve around a large rock formation where racers can choose to take a shortcut at the tip of the formation through a forest and run the risk of bumping into trees; taking this shortcut saves an hour compared to the standard route. The shortcut rejoins the main path at the six kilometer point. A downhill slope starts here, where riders are expected to reduce and control the pace of their horses to avoid tripping. After passing an abandoned farm, the racers sprint toward the finish line over 2,000 m (1.2 mi) of flat terrain.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 2: ("2nd. STAGE 一 ACROSS THE ARIZONA DESERT"+"Start in Santa Maria Novella Church to Monument Valley"+"Start Time: September 26, 1890, 10:00 AM, Total Distance: 1,200 km (750 mi), Participants: 3770, Retired: 1219, Deaths: 82"+"The second stage is one of the longest and harshest of the race. The riders must cross around 1,200 km (750 mi) of desert in a hot and dry climate, which puts the competitors and their horses at risk of dying from thirst, heat, or hostile fauna. To guarantee the safety of the racers, covered wagons filled with medics and referees follow the race from a distance; competitors can ask the medics for food, water, or medicine, but will immediately be retired from the race if they choose to do so. In addition to the regular dangers of the desert, racers also risk becoming lost due to the influence of a Devil's Palm. Out of 1219 retirees in this stage, 523 drop out due to interference from the Devil's Palm. The desert terrain is relatively rough, as the desert is marked by several mountainous areas and rocky formations. There is a control point halfway through the stage before the riders enter the relatively-open terrain near the goal at Monument Valley.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 3: ("3rd. STAGE 一 ROCKY MOUNTAIN BREAKDOWN"+"Start in Monument Valley to Cañon City"+"Start Time: October 14, 1890, ~5:24 PM, Total Distance: 510 km (320 mi), Participants: 2469, Retired: 551"+"The third stage consists of a 510 km (320 mi) race through the Rocky Mountains. The riders must travel across the rocky terrain of the mountains while avoiding hostile fauna such as cougars. Near the end of the stage, there is a small village along the path where competitors can take a short rest. The final 5 km (3.1 mi) of the stage see the remaining competitors travel downhill from the mountains and around a lake 450 m (0.28 mi) across. Racers who go around the lake's right side travel a flat 2,400 km (1,500 mi) route, while those who choose the left side face a treacherous 1,700 m (1.1 mi) path across the side of a cliff. Cañon City, the stage's goal, lies on the other side of the lake.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 4: ("4th. STAGE 一 LITTLE TOMB ON THE WIDE, WIDE PRAIRIE"+"Start in Cañon City to Kansas City"+"Start Time: October 19, 1890, ~3:15 AM, Total Distance: 1,250 km (780 mi), Participants: 1918, Retired: 1476, Deaths: 1"+"At 1,250 km (780 mi) in length, the fourth stage is one of the longest stages of the race. As it takes place in the Great Plains, the stage's terrain mostly consists of open fields with the occasional forest. Ultimately, this stage is more focused on endurance than speed, as racing at top speed can cause racers to trip over small bumps in the ground.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 5: ("5th. STAGE 一 ILLINOIS SKYLINE"+"Start in Kansas City to Chicago"+"Start Time: November 9, 1890, ~10:25 AM, Total Distance: 780 km (480 mi), Participants: 441, Retired: 65, Deaths: 2"+"Continuing across the rest of the Great Plains, the fifth stage's terrain is very similar to the fourth's, with most of the route crossing open fields and the occasional farm. Approximately 378 km (235 mi) before the goal, the Mississippi River serves as an obstacle which racers must figure out how to traverse. Though horses are capable of swimming across rivers by themselves, entering the water leaves them and their riders open to attack from other racers, flies, mosquitos, and even snakes swimming in the water.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 6: ("6th. STAGE 一 MICHIGAN LAKELINE"+"Start in Chicago to Mackinaw City"+"Start Time: November 23, 1890, ~12:36 PM, Total Distance: 690 km (430 mi), Participants: 374, Retired: 313, Deaths: 0"+"Being the northernmost stage of the race, this stage primarily takes place in the cold and snowy tundra of Wisconsin. The main obstacles that racers face during the majority of this stage are the cold climate and hostile fauna such as wolves. The snow may also conceal crevices in the ground, which may endanger racers moving at high speeds. The most dangerous section of this stage comes 15 km (9.3 mi) before reaching the goal, as racers must cross the strait between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron on uncertain ice.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 7: ("7th. STAGE 一 PHILADELPHIA TRIANGLE"+"Start in Mackinaw City to Philadelphia"+"Start Time: December 7, 1890, ~9:01 AM, Total Distance: ~1,300 km (810 mi), Participants: 61, Retired: 9, Deaths: 0"+"The seventh and longest stage of the Steel Ball Run sees racers travel southeast toward Philadelphia's historic Benjamin Franklin Parkway, swerving around Lake Erie in the process. The terrain bears a similarity to the plains found in the fourth and fifth stages, though the stage's route passes through more civilized areas than prior stages.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 8: ("8th. STAGE 一 BOTH SIDES NOW"+"Start in Philadelphia to Union Beach"+"Start Time: December 28, 1890, ~5:06 PM,Total Distance: 140 km (87 mi), Participants: 52, Retired: 6, Deaths: 1"+"The eighth stage's course sees the remaining participants travel across the fields of New Jersey. Racers traveling near the coastline may have to watch out for distortions in space, but otherwise the stage is fairly short and straightforward. At the end of the stage, each contestant boards a waiting boat in order to cross Raritan Bay and reach the final stage, where they are scheduled to disembark in 15-second intervals. All time bonuses are applied at the end of this stage.")

Steel Ball Run's Route 9 and The Final Stage: ("The Final STAGE 一 MANHATTAN RHAPSODY"+"Start in Union Beach to Trinity Church"+"Start Time: January 18, 1891, 6:02 AM, Total Distance: 13,000 m (8.1 mi), Participants: 45, Retired: 6, Deaths: 0"+"The final stage of the Steel Ball Run doubles as the shortest stage of the race. Disembarking from their escort boats one-by-one, racers must travel north from Coney Island to Manhattan. After crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, the finish line in front of Trinity Church is only a short distance away.")
