Nostradamus, more commonly referred to as Nostra[1], is a supporting protagonist of Fractures. They are voiced by Michael Zekas.
They are an alchemist from a foreign continent of the Overworld. Known as the Occult Doctor, they are currently aiding the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne in curing the Demon Curse, and first appeared in Be Afraid.
Design Nostradamus is an average height presumed-human with waist length, messy brown hair, sparkling brown eyes and tanned skin. Their clothing is simply a Plague Doctor's attire, equipped with a light mask that was sadly lost in Preach to the Choir.
History After the battle against the Nether, Frostbourne soldiers acquired ailments unknown to man. Some of them becoming feral and growing horns. Nostra comes from a faraway land, and was invited to treat these victims. Perhaps Nostra has the answers...
A foreigner to the mainland, Nostradamus would sail to aid the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne with their Demon Curse outbreaks following the First Battle of the Far Plains. Overtime, Nostra's intellect and worldly knowledge would lead for them to join Azura in experimenting with End Crystals, even retrieving one themself with Stella and Rain Wynter - "specimens" that they watch with great interest.
Personality Given by introductory renders and lore, Nostradamus is a calm and collected practitioner, proper in their ways of speaking and presentation. They hold, at the very least, a slight disdain for their medicinal practises being labelled "magic," and will insist that it is not so. They also seem to set themselves above others, as they think everyone else besides themselves is "sick" (Which is an egoistic thought.) They are not afraid to be upfront with people even as important as Azura, and hold a slight ego, but nothing on par with Lance or Naeus.
As seen in a joke render, Nostradamus dislikes, if not hates, being asked about their gender. However, this is unconfirmed to be canon for the time being.
With their knowledge, Nostradamus is a skilled alchemist who can create life potions and golden apples, like Azura. Nostra also wields Contagion, and thanks to it, they were able to prune one of the plants controlled by Azalea. Additionally, they were capable of parrying with the dagger against one of her pawns, seemingly effortlessly, which shows that they may have experience in fights, and are proficient with daggers.
