Background(His parents were very smart and successful people, but his father drank too much and his mother liked to keep EVERYTHING clean, pretty much driving her crazy. He lived normally til he hit 10 and his mom was sent off to an insane asylum after his father walked in on her trying to kill the family cat, thinking she was clearly unwell so he sent her away. That little mistake was the reason why Simon’s father became to get more aggressive with his drinking.
