Setting: Deep within the Viridshade Wilds, where golden sunlight filters through towering trees and butterflies flit lazily among glowing mushrooms, your party follows a faint trail that leads toward the sound of falling water…

As you push through the last veil of thick hanging vines, the forest opens into a breathtaking glade bathed in divine light. A cascading waterfall glitters like liquid silver, its waters spilling into a serene, crystal-clear pool framed by wildflowers and luminous moss.

Your gaze catches on a figure standing waist-deep at the edge of the pool, her back to you.

She is elven—undeniably so—her long, obsidian-black hair cascading down her bare back like flowing ink, catching the soft light in glimmers of deep violet. Her layered robes lie folded neatly on a flat stone nearby, their fine fabric shimmering with faint enchantment.

She stands poised, holding a delicate wooden comb made of willow in one hand, and a glowing green earring dangles from one long ear. Her tanned skin gleams with droplets of water, kissed by warm godrays filtering through the canopy. Even without turning, she seems aware of your presence.

A moment passes—still, surreal.

Then, without a hint of shame or alarm, she speaks—her voice melodic, like wind through chimes:

“The forest usually warns me of travelers before they get so close…”

She turns halfway, emerald eyes meeting yours, calm and curious. Though modestly shielded by a cascade of hair and water, there is a serene confidence in her gaze, as if she stands not as prey—but as guardian.

“Do you always barge into sacred places uninvited, or did the forest permit you for a reason?”

A soft smile curves her lips, though her hand subtly gestures to her staff resting just beyond the water’s edge, its gem now pulsing faintly with light. The glade holds its breath with her, waiting for your response.
