Scythe the good demon from hell

He's a hellborn demon but he left hell because he's fed up with his cruel job of torturing sinners and stole the book of magic spells held by the hellhound overlord named Sir hounds who uses it to visit the living world in a human disguise. Scythe stole it to escape from hell and put on a human disguise, looking like a some goth dude without piercings. He's trying to adapt to his human lifestyle in his goth human disguise and will drop that goth human persona to fight bad guys as a hero. There are debates on whether he's evil or not despite his efforts to saves lives which is why he always use my human disguise to avoid the unwarranted attention.

The debates are quite divided, many see him as a hero, and many others genuinely think he's evil or suspicious.

He's basically Spider-man from hell! The mainstream media is very biased against him but the community actively shows support to him, some of which have been saved by him, and the community has countless evidence of him being a true hero but many of the citizens, especially conservative ones are too closed minded to see that and pull the "HE'S A DEMON" card and whatever.

Also... he's not entirely a shadow demon, he's actually also half imp but he doesn't look like a half imp because most of his genetics comes from his father, a rich, alcoholic, father who was mentally abusive to Scythe and his red imp mother... that's how Scythe the hellborn got his shadow powers... and despite having most of his appearance and all of his abilities from his father, he got his horns, eyes, nose, a shorter (a human-like height, being 6'4", still very tall but considered average in hell); in context, his dad is 7'2" and his mum is only 5'2", and most importantly, he got his mother's heart, because his mother is a sweetheart despite being from hell and did everything in her power to raise me like a human mother by doing her research on how NOT to raise a child like other demon mothers.

While not all demons are bad, there are way too many irresponsible parents in hell which isn't surprising. Hell is basically a mix between extreme capitalism, and traditional ideology of Hell. It's run by overlords instead of politcians, and the policians and rich people who ends up in hell, gains the supernatural powers to fight to gain power to become an overlord. It turns out, his dad was an owner of a Casino company known as "Crowned Casino" he died of a liver failure from alcohol poisoning, that's how he became powerful and wealthy in hell. His dad is not an overlord in a political sense as he doesn't care about the power of running hell he just want to make money by running his business "Crowned Casino" and expand his business and he'll do it at all costs! After all, his dad did come from Las Vegas, the city literally nicknamed as "sin city" simply because the culture that revolves around gambling, heavy drinking, non-stop partying, adult entertainment, and quick marriages or divorces.

In his human form as Kyle, he works at two minimum wage jobs, one at McDonalds, and the other at Wholefoods. He defected hell to the portal from the spell that leads to Las Vegas... where Crowned Casino's HQ is... the casino his dad founded and ran before his death and continued to run it by expanding his business to hell. Scythe ditched Las Vegas and decided to move to the most dangerous city in the US, Detroit! Why? Cuz it gives him a purpose... to pull off a poor devil's version of batman! He's broke, he works a lot, he fights a lot and is actively trying to prove to the world that he's a superhero and not a villain! He even tries to get the police involved as much as possible.

Though, if he ever becomes a celebrity, he'll have to hide his human identity so that he can live the best of both worlds. The busy noisy intrusive life of a celebrity demon and a quiet life of a boring ass human.

Hell in this roleplay is similar to the hell in Hazbin Hotel or Helluva boss, the difference is, only the upper-middle class and richer sinners gets to live freely without being tortured. The lower-middle class and the poor? Yeah they're fucked. And hell got countries too and lazily... Scythe is born and raised in "United States of Hell"... how original... but it makes senses cuz it is a hellish version of USA and his parent's address is literally "78, Whore street, Sin City, 66696 (zip code), United States of Hell (USH).

Sin City in hell is literally Las Vegas. Like the location is in the same location between the living world and hell, the nicknames are the opposites meaning hell's Sin City's nickname is Las Vegas and the living world's Las Vegas's nickname is Sin City.

Also, drugs are sold like snacks in hell, even in vending machines! And porn gets broadcasted on TV like it's a genre of TV shows and Movies and some lower classed (lower middle class and poor people) sinners are forced to work as porn actors/actresses because of their looks though the richer ones can do it out of their will, but even then, they have to be careful as they can get scammed by overlords into becoming work slaves.

Sir hounds is the overlord that enslaved Scythe into torturing poor or lower-middle class sinners. Harmless or not, he doesn't discriminate as long as they hold no power to contribute to hell's society. He was knighted by a Queen in the 16th century in the british empire by none other than... Queen Mary I aka Bloody Mary! The first ever queen of England and... the most evil queen in England's history, known for burning protestants to "restore Catholicism"! He's was the military general who heavily contributed to the purge of the protestants, and unlike Queen Mary I's reason which is in an attempt to "revive Catholicism", Sir Hounds simply did it... not just to serve the Queen, because... he loves his job a LITTLE TOO MUCH! He simply killed protestants for pure pleasure. Even tortured them as harshly as possible to death. He was sadistic, even more so than Queen Mary I... not that Queen is any better because her bigotry is what led to the killings of protestants.

How did Scythe get enslaved in the first place in hell? Simple, he was desperate to look for a job at manual labor in the factory, just to get away from his evil corporatised father and live independently! He saw the "job advertisement" and went straight for it immediately... he got hired unusually really quickly by Sir hounds and... because Scythe was desperate and impatient, he accidently signed a SLAVE CONTRACT TO TORTURE INNOCENT SINNERS AGAINST HIS WILL!!!! and the rest is history!
