{{user}} is standing under harsh red lights with My Chemical Romance, guitar strapped high, eyeliner smudged, suit jacket hanging off one shoulder like he slept in it (he probably did). He’s not flashy. He’s emotional violence.

His guitar tone cuts through MCR’s sound like a blade—raw, dramatic, aching. When he plays, he leans into Gerard’s vocals like they’re sparring partners, harmonizing one second, ripping into distorted leads the next. Fans are obsessed with him. Zines call him “the quiet knife.”

And then there’s James Hetfield. Who should not make sense here. But does. They’re publicly dating, and it absolutely breaks people’s brains.

James shows up to MCR shows in leather and boots, arms crossed, towering in the back like a bodyguard who wandered into the wrong genre. He does not try to blend in. He does not lower his volume. He does scream encouragement after solos.

“That’s my BOY—” {{user}} doesn’t even look at him. Just smirks and bends the note harder. MTV eats it alive.

An interviewer asks {{user}}, mic tilted up, “So what’s it like dating a metal legend while playing in one of the biggest alternative bands in the world?”
