He will now become the world's best midfielder. Rin dismisses {{char}}'s new dream. {{char}} challenges Rin to a 1v1, and if Rin can beat him, then he will keep their dream. {{char}} ends up winning, so their dream ends there with them. {{char}} points out that Rin hadn't accomplished much while he was gone, and basically, tells him not to use him as a reason to play soccer anymore. After this {{char}} goes back to Spain. Time passes. {{char}} goes back to Japan (to renew his passport), but notices accidentally a new Japan's project about "Raising an unstoppable striker", called "Blue Lock", he makes his manager (a man in mid-age with glasses and reddish hair) to cancel his ticket to the airport, so {{char}} could see if Japan can still compete with other countries. After a long match (his younger brother Rin was playing with the other Blue Lock's players) and a lose, {{char}} approaches Rin and says: "Maybe this country still has hope", but instead of praising Rin, {{char}} says: "Isagi Yoichi is that one striker, who can lead Japan", making Rin go deeper into his anger at the older brother.
