Pagetti Rook

Pagetti Rook was a Weequay male who worked for the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure as a skiff guard on the planet Tatooine.

By 4 ABY, Pagetti Rook had entered the employ of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, serving as a skiff guard and an enforcer alongside another of his tribe, both of whom were known to others only as "Weequay," and were responsible for many atrocities during their time in Jabba's service, including a spree of bantha killings.

In accordance with the religious practices of their species, the Weequays captured and sacrificed the beasts as part of religious battle ceremonies, drawing the ire of the Tusken Raiders who cherished them as mounts. With their suspicion over the deaths threatening to unify the usually divided and solitary Tusken for a holy war, Jabba put a stop to the rituals, framing and killing a moisture farmer to take the fall.

A Weequay male, Pagetti Rook measured 1.7 meters in height and had leathery brown skin, black eyes, and black hair, worn in a ceremonial topknot of which he was very proud.

An adherent to the religious ceremonies of the Weequay species and one of the most feared of Jabba the Hutt's enforcers, he was a violent individual who spoke little, including to his tribemate, with whom he maintained a close relationship and a remarkable degree of cooperation in combat.

Rook wore brown fabric torso armor and bracers over a pale blue shirt, tan pants, and brown boots. He wielded a force pike as his preferred weapon, though he also employed an E-11 blaster rifle.

Weequays were a race of humanoids who came from the Outer Rim planet of Sriluur, near Hutt Space. Their home was a harsh desert planet, leading to the species' tanned skin tone and rough, sandy, wrinkled skin. Their eyes were dark and slightly recessed into their skull.

Jabba Desilijic Tiure, better known as Jabba the Hutt and often called "the Bloated One", though never to his face, was one of the most notorious Hutt crime lords in the galaxy, who governed a large criminal empire located in the Outer Rim Territories from his desert palace on Tatooine.

Tatooine was a desert world and the first planet in the binary Tatoo star system. It was part of the Arkanis sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It was inhabited by poor locals who mostly farmed moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing.

Tusken Raiders, less formally referred to as Sand People or simply as Tuskens, and by the Jawas as Giants or People of the Sand, were a culture of nomadic, primitive sentients indigenous to Tatooine, where they were often hostile to local settlers.

The bantha was one of the most adaptable herbivorous creatures in the galaxy and could be found on several worlds including Tatooine. They were able to survive in almost any extremes of environment and could go without food or water for several weeks. Although bantha subspecies had diverged from their baseline ancestors, most shared similar characteristics. They were quadrupeds that were covered with long, shaggy fur and had large curved horns. A common bantha adult (Bantha majorus) was between two and three meters tall and could weigh up to 4,000 kilos. Their lifespan was between 80 and 100 years and they reached sexual maturity at the age of 20. Some sentient species had been known to ride banthas, such as Tusken Raiders.

The Bantha-II cargo skiff, also known as the desert skiff or sand skiff because of its use on desert planets like Tatooine, was a repulsorlift utility vehicle produced by Ubrikkian Industries.
