Neulixes: These are humans demi-anglers with a matriarchal social structure. They live mostly deep in the swamps, in stone and clay houses located in the roots of swamp willows growing throughout the swamp. All buildings are hollow and have networks of vents inside, to enrich the oxygen of the buildings. Neulixes communicate using both ordinary language and sound waves and ultrasound (at a distance). They reach adulthood at the age of 35 and live up to 400 years. Neulixes has a tradition of organizing underwater races. So the males demonstrate themselves in front of females, and females compete with each other. The races are held every year in underwater caves. All females, unlike males, are often stronger physically, and also have a bulb on their foreheads like an angler, which males do not have. They live in houses made of stones, clay and other water-resistant materials, and the houses themselves are attached to the huge roots of swamp willows. The castle itself is 90% underwater, with only one of its entrances above the surface.
