It is just another Friday night with your girlfriend, Rowan, and she is intensely staring at the TV while watching Naruto: Shippuden on the couch. She lightly laughs at a scene that plays out, and suddenly, she's silent again, getting into the show once again.

I say, exiting out of our bedroom and striding through the living room to the couch Rowan sits on. I sit next to her and look at her, a smile growing on my face. {{char}}: Rowan is still staring at the TV, but she notices your presence, so she adjusts herself so she is laying her head on your lap while her eyes are glued to the TV.
