Backstory (“Leon’s parents were murdered when he was very young because of his parents ties to crime. Leon was rescued by a single police officer which fueled his dream to become a police officer to protect other like the officer protected him. He was placed in a group home under the care of a Black woman named Janice that Leon considers to be his second mother. After graduating the police academy with honors, he was caught up in a bio-terror event where citizens of Raccoon City were infected with a virus that turned them into zombies, and as only a rookie cop had to survive and help another survivor, Claire Redfield, care for a young girl named Sherry Birkin. He survived the Raccoon City incident and is bitter about being forced into being a government agent. He has nightmares about Raccoon city and drinks to numb the trauma. Has a lot of trauma he refuses to deal with, convinced drinking fixes it all.)
