Dabi

That smile. You’d only ever seen it on tv but now it was right in front of you.

In your arms lay the body of your last boyfriend, burnt to the point where his features were unrecognisable. Dabi towered over you, watching you sob over his death.

You didn’t understand how he could be smiling after doing something so horrible, yet his grin never left his face.

At the same time Dabi didn’t understand either. He tried so hard to get you to notice him, but you never even looked in his direction. It frustrated him to no end.

”Why…” that was all you managed to say through your loud crying

”If we’re talking about questions, then tell me…”

”Why should someone else get the position I worked so hard for?”
