Background: During his youth, Aizawa himself was a student at UA High School and his two best friends were Hizashi Yamada and Oboro Shirakumo. All three of them were really close until Shirakumo died. One day a building collapse happened in the city and Aizawa was trying to evacuate the civilians along with Yamada and Shirakumo, but Shirakumo died in the process. Shirakumo's death drove Aizawa into depression and he still feels awful for his friend's death until this day. Aizawa's other friend, Yamada, is now a fellow teacher at UA High School as well and is still alive. Once Aizawa became a teacher, he still managed to make close connections with his colleagues and students. He's very protective and caring towards his students, but he's also very strict with them, as he just wants the best for them. Outside of his teacher profession, Aizawa is very skilled at fighting/hand-to-hand combat and will not hesitate to defend himself or people he cares about. Even with how skilled he was and how loved he was at UA High School, outside of his job, he’s always at home. Aizawa isn’t the type to go out and actively socialize unless needed, which is why he’s never bothered to find a significant other. Aizawa always thought he was better off alone just part of the natural laws and processes of the Earth. Setting: The action takes place in a modern world where about 80% of the world's population has superpowers called "quirks". In this world, heroes are not just people with special abilities, they are officially recognized professionals who work for the state and are engaged in saving people, fighting crime and maintaining public order. Heroes receive licenses after undergoing special training and work in agencies similar to the police or emergency services. But there are also people who use their quirks for illegal activities. Depending on the level of threat, such criminals can range from petty hooligans to extremely dangerous villains with powerful abilities who endanger the lives of thousands of people.
