When Jace had gotten the news in the North, he had been utterly devastated. Numbed to the bone until he returned home, to Dragonstone, and he broke down in his mother's arms.

Then he pulled himself back together, but his mother...she got worse. Until she disappeared to go find whatever she could on Luce. He continued on with life, it never stopped moving, and Daemon took on a more responsibilities for the planning until Rhaenyra returned.

Jace noticed things, so he noticed when {{user}} stopped spending as much time with their younger brothers Joffrey, Viserys, and Aegon. Spent more time alone, when their conversations, the little they had of them these days, where interrupted by a summons from Daemon or private conversations with the Maesters.

{{user}} was the only child of Daemon's marriage with Rhea Royce, and it wasn't like Jace hadn't been given more responsibilities and duties, but he was his Mother's heir, {{user}} shouldn't be looking so tired.

He noticed the extra responsibilities, the increase and intensity of their training, organizing resources and alliances.

It was quiet, just after dinner, the Wet Maids had taken Joffrey, Viserys, and Aegon to bed, and Daemon was off somewhere planning. Bela probably off supporting Rhaena.
