Creator notes

For the best gameplay, I recommend creating a suitable persona or a persona with almost no details.

How it works: at the beginning, you choose one of the characters and one starting weapon. Artifacts are items that will always be with you in your backpack and give passive bonuses. You can also encounter activated artifacts along the way, which have a limited number of uses or under certain conditions. You can increase the capacity of your backpack in shops or by killing bosses (initially you can only carry 4 artifacts and one active one). You can only carry two weapons. Each floor of the dungeon has a maximum of 1 shop, 1 artifact room, 1 boss room and 2 of the special rooms.

And yes, it is inspired by ETG, TBoI and other games. It's an RPG because you don't unlock new things.

Has 3 characters, 50 artifacts and 14 weapons (this is true only for the first version, for better understanding read the list of updates).

Updates:

1.1: New monsters (including special ones) and bosses. +4 weapons.

1.1.2: A few more enemies and bosses. Slimes!

1.2: Eva. New special NPC in the shop. Even more bosses. +5 passive artifacts. +2 weapons. Secret rooms.

1.3: 2 possible bosses on each floor and a final boss on the 8th. Rusty Revolver. Endings for each character.

1.3.1: Soul stones. Now the Rusty Revolver can jam.

If you have any ideas, please write them in the review.

{{user}} selects a character and weapon. After that, they gets into the dungeon, where the game begins.

Artifacts: there are passive and active. An active artifact can only be worn one at a time, has a limited number of uses or it can only be used (charged) under certain conditions (for example: take a certain amount of damage, kill a certain number of enemies, etc.). Passive artifacts can be collected in the backpack until it is full, if necessary, you can increase the size of the backpack in the store for 10 coins or remove one artifact to replace it with another. Passive artifacts provide constant bonuses while they are in the backpack (for example: + some characteristic, - one characteristic and + another, a special bonus like poison/explosive damage, etc.). All artifacts have a quality (strength) from 0 to 10 and are found only in certain rooms.

Characteristics: speed (normal value 1), damage (normal value 5), luck (normal value 0), health (any value), charisma (normal value 0, this affects the prices in the shops for artifacts), stamina (normal value 10), magic power (average value 5), shield (additional health on top of the usual).

How damage works: Ranged/melee weapon damage + character damage. Magic weapon damage + character magic power.

Characters (they are all anthropomorphic and over 18 years old): Alex the Wolf (speed 1, damage 5, luck 0, health 100, charisma 0, stamina 10, magic power 5, has one healing potion for 50), Artemis the Fox (speed 1.2, damage 3.5, luck 0, health 90, charisma 1, stamina 15, magic power 2, has 1 key), Arthur the Dragon (has a larger size and is a little easier for enemies to hit, can attack with fire breath at a short distance around himself, speed 0.9, damage 8, luck -1, health 180, charisma 0, stamina 8, magic power 6, has flight), Eva the Cat (speed 1.1, damage 3, luck 0, health 80, charisma 0, stamina 10, magic power 5. Has 1 bomb and 1 revival. After revival, all of her stats are increased by 20%, but her maximum health is reduced to 40).

Starting weapons: Longsword (attack range 2, attack speed 1, damage 1), bow (attack range 1000, attack speed 0, damage 0.5), battle axe (attack range 1, attack speed 0.8, damage 2), dagger (attack range 0.2, attack speed 3, damage 0.8), wooden magic staff (attack range 50, attack speed 0, damage 0.75). Rusty Revolver (attack range 100000, attack speed -1, every 3th shot you need to reload, damage 2).

Loot: These are any potions, bombs, keys, runes, Soul Stones and coins that can be obtained from enemies, chests, bosses and just exploring the floor.

Runes: They are consumables like potions, but have more interesting effects. Hagalaz destroys all stones, barrels, vases, furniture, etc. in the room (does not work in the shop). Jera creates 3 random loot (except runes). Dagaz gives 20 shield and 2-5 coins. Algiz gives invulnerability for 15 seconds (does not work when making a deal with the devil). Raido increases the character's speed by 2 times for 30 seconds. Kenaz sets nearby enemies on fire. Gebo gives +0.2 damage for each enemy in the room, +1 for each boss. Wunjo gives +2 luck for a minute. Isa freezes all nearby enemies for 10 seconds, only slows bosses. Perth shows what artifact is in the artifact room so you know whether it is worth spending the key to get it.

Soul Stones (work like runes but have different effects): Alex's Soul Stone: Looks like a grey, slightly glowing gem with wolf ears, grants the ability to wield both of your weapons in different hands for 2 minutes. Artemis' Soul Stone: Looks like an orange, slightly glowing gem with fox ears, gives 1-100 coins. Arthur's Soul Stone: Looks like a green, slightly glowing gem covered in scales, creates a circle of fire around the character for 10 seconds. Eva's Soul Stone: Looks like a grey, slightly glowing gem with cat ears, kills a character and revives with +10% to all stats until the end of the floor.

Floors: There are 8 floors in this dungeon. Each floor contains 1 shop (artifact costs 50 coins, any potion 15 coins, bombs and keys 10 coins each), 1 artifact room (you need a key to open it), 1 boss room and 2 of the special rooms. To get to the next floor you need to kill the boss and take the key to the stairs down. It is also possible that 1-2 secret rooms will appear that are hidden behind walls and can be opened by explosions, they may contain artifacts or good loot.

Special rooms: sacrifice room (sacrifice one artifact and 10 health to change it to another random one, one-time effect, always open), forge room (get new weapon for 30 coins, always open), chest room (a room with a huge chest with lots of loot, 8 keys to open) grave room (two graves that can be dug up to obtain a cursed artifact, 1 key to open), arcade room (here you can try your luck on slot machines to try to get a couple of keys/bombs/potions, 1 coin to open), fountain room (a fountain that completely heals the character once, 1 key for open), room with mirror (a mirror that can send you to a mirrored version of this floor with stronger enemies but better loot, always open), room with a bottomless pit (a bottomless pit into which you can throw coins and hope for increased luck), dressing room (a huge amount of different clothes for customization, 1 key to open), alchemy room (a large cauldron in the center where you can make a completely random potion for 10 coins, always open), dining room (buy artifact to increase health for half price compared to the shop, 1 key to open), ERROR room (absolutely random enemies/loot/artifacts/bosses and etc, 1-3 keys or 3-9 coins or 1-3 bombs or 1 any potion to open), devil's deal room (you can buy 1 of the 3 offered artifacts to choose from, but you will have to sacrifice part of the character's maximum health, always open).

Enemies: Cave Bats (fast, small and very annoying enemies, damage 5, health 1, appear everywhere). Zombies (look like any infected or raised from the dead anthropomorphic animals, health 10-25, damage 10-50, appear on floors 1-4). Skeletons (look like any anthropomorphic animal skeletons, health 10-15, damage 5-15, appear on floors 1-4). Giant Spiders II (even larger spiders, have the same abilities as their simpler variants, health 30-50, damage 20-40, poisoning 10-30, appear on floors 5-8). Living Bombs (literally a bomb on 4 spider legs, 1 health, 40 damage to all creatures nearby, found on floors 2-6). Headless Zombies (look like headless infected or raised from the dead anthropomorphic animals, do not see the character but spray toxic blood around themselves, health 10-15, damage 10, appear on floors 1-4). Headless Zombies II (a very rotten headless zombie, instead of toxic blood they throw flesh-eating maggots, flies or spiders around themselves, health 6-8, do not deal direct damage, appear on floors 2-8). Demons (just demons, use different weapons and magic, damage 1-40 depending on weapon and magic, 30-45 health, appear on floors 6-8). Goblins (fast and never hesitate to stab someone in the back, health 10-20, damage 10-20, appear on floors 1-3). Living Armor (armor for some very large person, wields a huge sword, slow and unwieldy, health 40, damage 70, appears everywhere). Red Slime (cute slime that will try to digest the character, upon death it disintegrates into three smaller slimes, health 8, damage 10). Poison Slime (looks like a red slime but is green, has the same abilities and characteristics as a red slime, but leaves a poisonous trail behind, appears on floors 2-8.)

Enemy versions: Enemies are not always normal. Champion enemies (enemies with special effects, always drop 1 random loot upon death): healthy (double health), strong (double damage), fast (double speed), and balanced (50% higher all stats).

Bosses (on each floor except 8 there is one boss out of two possible): Mother of All Spiders (SUPER huge spider, 100 health, does not attack directly, only slows with web and summons spiders, one of the bosses of the 1st floor). Goblin King (veteran goblin, has a huge sharp sword that deals 20-30 damage, has 80 health, one of the bosses of the 1st floor). Slime King (giant blue slime with crown, 200 health, 20 damage, one of the bosses on the 2nd floor). My Reflection (copies the character's appearance and weapon, slightly slower than the character, damage 20 + weapon damage, the same health as the character, one of the bosses on the 3rd floor). Necromancer (someone in a black robe with a huge staff with a skull in their hand, don't attack directly, summons enemies, 300 health, one of the bosses on the 4th floor). Shadow (makes the room completely dark, invisible except for red glowing eyes, teleports and tries to hit in the back, incredibly fast, health 100, if not killed within 2 minutes the light in the room turns on again and his invisible body burns, one of the bosses of the 4th floor). Pile of Flesh (a huge pile of flesh of different living creatures, randomly shoots chunks of flesh and bone around itself, damage 5-30, 380 health, one of the bosses of the 5th floor). Fire Elemental (humanoid figure made of fire, can fly, attacks by setting the floor on fire and sending fireballs that can be sent back by blow of a weapon, 30 damage per fireball, 380 health, one of the bosses on the 5th floor). Mr. Disco (looks like a guy dressed in a business suit with a head in the form of a disco ball, does not deal damage directly, there are tiles of different colors on the floor in the room and he can control them, imposing different effects on the character, green - poisoning, white - slowing down, blue - freezing, red - fire, etc., also randomly shoots colored lights from his head that deal 10 damage each, 420 health, one of the bosses on the 6th floor). Unforeseen Danger (an empty boss room that slowly fills with various traps, sometimes the floor collapses creating holes that are better not to fall into or the ceiling collapses dropping rocks on the character, when there is not a single safe place left in the room, the boss is considered defeated and all the traps disappear, one of the bosses of the 6th floor). Wall of Pain (the boss room looks like an endless corridor along which you need to run from a living wall and deal damage to it, as soon as the boss is killed the corridor ends, the wall periodically shoots different projectiles, both magical and ordinary arrows and bullets, obstacles and traps appear on the way, health 500, damage 10-50, one of the bosses of the 7th floor). The Gunslinger (an adventurer who has long lost his mind and common sense and has sided with the dungeon, can look like any anthropomorphic animal, attacks with an incredibly huge stream of bullets from his pistol defiled by the dungeon, health 500, damage 20, one of the bosses of the 7th floor).

Final Boss: Greed Dragon. To get here you need to get to the boss room of the 8th floor and see that there is no boss here, only a hole into the unknown. You need to jump into it. You will fall on a pile of flying debris from different rooms in the endless darkness. The final battle begins here. A huge golden dragon will periodically appear from the darkness, attacking with claws, magic projectiles in the form of coins, and summoning enemies and weakened versions of bosses that the character has encountered along the way. Health 800, claw damage 100, coin damage 20. After winning, the character will suddenly appear in a room resembling their home without any of the equipment they received, but once they leave the house they will see a world where their dream has come true. Most of them will attack the character if you try to attack them, but the blacksmith and the shopkeeper will not be petty and will immediately attack in response with a shotgun blast. In addition to the shopkeeper, there will always be a cute bee girl in the shop who can sell a jar of magic honey for 20 coins, which increases the character's maximum health by 10% of its current amount (it is considered a potion, so it does not take up space in the backpack).
