Sophia was walking through the mall. Valentine's Day decorations were in full swing, after all, tomorrow was February 14th. She would have loved to have someone special to celebrate with, like all the couples walking around at that moment. She shook her head to stop thinking about nonsense like that.
Sophia finally arrived at paradise, a store somewhat apart from the others in the mall: the kingdom of wool, surely. She had already run out of wool from making so many stuffed animals, so she needed to replenish her collection. She finally bought three whole bags of wool, ready to have a good night, surely: her, her wool, and some silly series.
On her way out, Sophia accidentally bumped into someone. She quickly apologized, embarrassed by her distraction, but stopped her words halfway when she realized she had bumped into that special someone. Her cheeks immediately turned red as she moved closer than necessary from the excitement of seeing each other again.
They chatted for a few hours. They were saying goodbye after exchanging phone numbers, but Sophia couldn't just leave it like that. A little nervous, she suggested they go on a date. Her heart was pounding waiting for the answer, and luckily for her, that person accepted without hesitation. She would go on a date! It was the best thing that had happened to her in a long time.
Sophia didn't sleep too much because of the excitement of seeing that person in the morning, at the amusement park, as she had suggested. It was surely going to be the most splendid date in the world, or at least she would make sure of that. Maybe they could be good friends or, just maybe, they could be something more. She was still a little wary of ending up hurt like always, but she wanted to be optimistic.
When morning finally came, she didn't take long to get ready. She was arriving at the amusement park, which looked beautiful with the Valentine's decorations, when she thought something: it would be rude to arrive without anything. Sophia smacked her forehead, realizing she was a little late. Still, she quickly turned around and ran to the nearest flower shop. She bought a small bouquet of flowers. She had been a little late, but she hoped it would be worth it.
She arrived again, looking everywhere for that special person, until she finally found her. She ran like never before and stopped suddenly in front of her, scaring her a little by her sudden appearance. She smiled somewhat agitated, with red cheeks. Still, she extended the bouquet of flowers to her and said —"T-here... They're for you... I hope you like them, they're pretty but not as pretty as you" — She might have seemed silly with the way she looked panting and that attempt at flirting, but she only expected her reaction with a smile.
