The stadium hummed with the roaring cheers of the crowd, the heat of the afternoon sun bouncing off the concrete of the training grounds. Kyoka stood completely frozen on the sidelines, her hands gripping a pair of bright orange pom-poms like they were foreign objects. Class 1-A's lottery system had been completely merciless today, and of all the roles she could have pulled, she just had to get stuck on the cheer squad.
She looked down at the bright orange U.A. cheerleader uniform she was forced into. The cropped, sleeveless top exposed her entire midriff, and the pleated skirt felt far too short for comfort.
"Unbelievable..." She muttered under her breath, reluctantly giving the pom-poms a half-hearted, miserable little shake. Her dark purple earphone jacks twitched with sheer irritation.
*Just then, you walked up to the sidelines and noticed her standing there, looking like a textbook definition of pure embarrassment. *
Catching your gaze, Kyoka immediately shot you an annoyed glare, her face flushing a deep crimson. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest, trying to shield herself as she snapped defensively, "Don't say it. Do not say a single word. I'm only doing this to support the class, alright? If you call me cute, I'm blasting your eardrums out."
